Lost it from last May, hadn't booked anything for next May yet. I have tickets, everything else will be last minute jobbie unless the world changes drastically over the next few months. -
2021 GP Series Dates

Already lost my DB trains money, they were offering cash refunds up until the day of my travel, no provision was made after that. Eurostar have extended my vouchers twice but atm have to be used by April. So gonna have to pay that again as well. Hoping hotels will be a simple transfer over though. Having experienced Warsaw in 30 degree plus heat (may 2018), i can only imagine how nice it may be in August. Still one of my favorite cities in the world. -
so Kent need to find a replacement for Covatti but all other Kings and Royals team members committed for 2021. Additional banking has been added to bends 3 and 4 to hopefully produced even more passing

Huewan was very good at studio presenting but can't remember him commentating (not saying he didnt) Could bring back Jonathan Green for the pit interviews too...... I think the combination of his poor commentary, lazy knowledge base, and his sheer desire to bleed money from our sport at every turn, Getting Nigel Pearson out the commentary seat would be akin to speedway getting its own bank holiday.
-
Thats unfair on Rowe tbf, his commentaries will never seem great when he is constantly either having to correct Sams errors and overlook his pronunciations. I make little secret that Dave Goddard is my fav commentator, and paired with a genuine speedway officinado in Kelv Tatum for me would be the dream ticket. For me Pearson is just annoying to listen too, and for someone so experienced, having to laugh his way through his own errors on a weekly basis is embarrassing.

Tbf to Polish clubs, the amount of time, money and expertise invested in young Poles is immense. So its not like they hunt out young foreign prospects. Its the star names they poach away, but again. If you could earn 1500 a point plus 50,000 signing on fee vs 100 quid a point and a spares van voucher signing on fee. If you trained for years to become a store manager at McDonald's and then Burger King offer you ten times the amount, I would suggest 95 percent of people would see security for your kids over loyalty to the company that trained them, every day of the week.

I am normally the first one to say about giving brits every opportunity possible. But its unrealistic to expect a team who loses a 9 point imported rider, to replace them with a choice of NL riders. Would make that very uncompetitive.

Realistically the BSPA have so much to discuss. After the Polish ran a full league, and Swedish a limited one in 2020, whilst in the UK we were spectators from a far.... The bspa need to plan for a full season. A full season with limited capacity. A full season behind closed doors A stop start season with ever changing restrictions. A season where non UK based riders may become unable to travel Etc etc etc. Basically the BSPA have to try and make a viable plan a,b,c,d,e,f,g,and h Whether we will need to enter speedway team and mechanics into social bubbles. In an ever changing world, the BSPA need to have total flexibility. Think Ben91 said it best. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.

As spot on as it gets.

What Anders Rowe has done this year is what so many young bits should have done over the years. Done it tough, up sticks and gone sink or swim in the exact way the aussies and yanks do coming to Europe. Yet in typical British speedway style he has gotten little to no recognition for what he has done. Beating proper riders out there too, and gets overlooked for the British final and SON!!! All this when only himself, Tai,Dan,Rob and and Adam Ellis were the only brits to see regular competitive racing in 2020.
-
He has offered up plenty of competition.
-
Afc Wimbledon have cheated and scammed so many non league clubs on thier "fairytale" climb. You honestly won't find many in the football world wishing them a great deal of success, let alone those in the Banger, stock car and greyhound communities.

I had not even heard of it....

The lorry Park is Ashford (my home town) has been desperately needed for ages. Far better then operation stack closing the M20 down.
-
The dogs are kept and access the track via parts of the stadium not in use during speedway. So in effect if a positive case closed the stadium side of the operation. In theory the dogs could still run behind closed doors.

Torun GP tickets valid ??
teaboy279 replied to THE DEAN MACHINE's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I believe there was far less then the 7000 people allowed I sold for the Saturday. If my Polish mate is to be believed they have only sold about 1200 tickets for the Friday. -
Torun GP tickets valid ??
teaboy279 replied to THE DEAN MACHINE's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Original bought tickets for the sat gp (the date is the original) are valid for the sat night. If you want to do both GPS then you need to buy an additional ticket for that event. -
Has anyone been anywhere yet

Just Crayford Kestrels vs Romney Falcons at Lydd speedway for me. -
I think he covered this on the speedway tavern, that the journey (without delays) was not possible. I doubt very much he is earning anything out there as well. Whilst pay per point will be higher, he and his mechanic (his dad) have had to move to a country they don't speak the language and start from scratch. And I bet whilst they are having to fund this investment in Anders long term career, the bills back home in the UK haven't stopped. In his kent days I spent a lot of time watching Anders and Del, and there isn't many harder working duos out there. And the GB recognition meant so much to anders and his family. So I bet he was as gutted or disappointed as anyone else that he could nt ride. I may be biased but I feel what Anders has done is what many young brits have needed to do in the past. I cant help think that so many aussies are ahead of our brits because they have to leave home and then its very much sink or swim. OK the distance is not so great but the jump Anders has made in many ways is bigger. The aussies have the instant advantage when they reach the UK that they speak the lingo. I dare say when anders arrived he didn't even know how to order dinner!.
