  1. Tbf the video is badly edited as well. The 30 seconds missing between the crash and him walking along the back straight would show why he was being heckled more clearly.
  2. A few people have said that Carr didn't move when he good excluded for 2nd warning. So he may of been unlucky then.
  3. Although the meetings I ve seen him in won't affect his average, he looked the best I had seen him, especially some team riding he did to protect the lower order. If he has been team riding partners in leagues matches it's easy to drop points. I ve always seen Halsey as someone in a tight race he usually wins, but if he is miles clear he has a tendency to switch off and goes for a play on the bouncy castle.
  4. Take out a few stupid moments it had some exceptional racing with plenty of genuine overtakes. Bacon and Davey looked classy, Carr just had one of them nights. Take away the hiss fit and Cupitt was worth far more then his points haul. And Roberts in particular seems to have made a big step forward speed wise. I think that same team could on another evening get a result at kent.
  5. I used to get sports books at Christmas from various people but that seems to have stopped many still unread if I am honest and I ve struggled to give them away too. But I would say I am actually more likely to read riders biographys now more then ever. The Internet is great for information, it's just whether it's the correct information. Hearing first hand from people involved in these stories makes it more factual and of more interest to me these days. Not read Kenny carter's book, I asume that's available on amazon or ebay somewhere?
  6. I agree with that Sings. In fact last term the two weaker (not weak!) Brum riders at CP were JPB and Ritchings. Seen many brummies fans call this as a ten point home win, I would love that but feel tonight has last heat decider written all over it.
  7. Hopefully get some good tight racing this evening, I ll happily take 46-44.
  8. Davey beat Bowen in heat 1 the other week so certainly provides a potent number one.
  9. I thought I read somewhere that stevie Boxall was guesting at 1, either way top 5s are pretty even if stoneman can ride at 100 percent, the difference may come at reserve and both Bradley and Anders are both going quite nicely. Many Brummie fans making the awkward Monday evening journey down?
  10. With the change in leagues the 3.60 average you have, should it not be ×1.4 for the premiere then ×2 for national league. Don't know what that figure comes out at though as too hot for my brain today. Lol
  11. Christ some of you are blinkered. Even some of the lakeside fans near us weren't impressed with Bowtell turning left on Stoneman. Anyway I hate going to Arena Essex, poor track, poor viewing, and no atmosphere BUT that was a very entertaining meeting tonight. With more passing then my previous 5 visits to the venue added together. 5he new track guy obviously knows how to prepare a proper Race Track with various lines. Could not go their everyweek though...
  12. Cheers for that Gustix. Had wondered what the prices were for my seven year old.
  13. Yeah a big kent contingency should be heading up as we all have withdrawal symptoms. I don't think a league point is out of the question.
  14. They are all hero's in my eyes, but you can't beat the chance of cheering on a home win and hearing the National Anthem and as it stands Tai is the only person with the opportunity to do that. The time he spent with not only myself but my then 5 and then again a year later 6 year old daughter is priceless. And to her he is a massive hero. Let's not try make out that I support all Tai decisions. I think he should compete in the British final (I also think the top 4 or 5 brits should get seeded, this actually opens the semis up to more riders too ) It frustrates me he is not riding in the world cup but scottie and Rico have done the same thing and they can't all be wrong. But for me while it is sad not to see the premiere brit not competing domestically if i was a his level I would not ride the British league. Why not turn it into a positive, you can read at least 10 posts a day saying big changes are needed in the sport. Why not use the top brit not wanting to ride here as a catalyst for change. I appreciate some of you don't like the bloke but for all his achievements he must at least of earn't your respect?
  15. I read somewhere that Auty got 14 days for with holding his services so assume JPB will get the same (although this is British speedway so any guess will do)
  16. A hero representing us at gp level. I bet the UK TV audience of the gps would half without him. (Or any brit tbf). The real question is what has he done against British fans?
  17. Danny Ayres....It's the same in other sports I follow. The PC brigade and health and safety crew have killed fun in this country. Always found it funny at motorsports events that a grass bank can be closed off incase someone falls over. When 10 yards away people are racing round on bikes or in cars. Never forget last year's world cup where the security in the temporary stands had to wear hard hats. But the 1000 or so fans sat there didn't.
  18. I may be completely wrong here and going from memory. But I seem to recall Tai offering to hire a track out in Europe but the bspa weren't prepared to cover travel costs. As I say don't take that as a statement of fact as it's just something I seem to recall.
  19. Lakeside is literally one of the worst tracks to estimate attendances with such open spaces. I ve been to Banger events there with 10,000 plus people yet (turns 3 and 4 for speedway) was still like a ghost town.
  20. Locke for me falls off a far bit, but that's because he is a trier. He reminds me of a raw Jack Kingston or Danny Ayres. Certainly the exact sort or eider who will thrive under the undoubted great tutoring he will get at lakeside.
  21. Ready he got a head injury so 9 day lay off I believe. Gonna miss a few meets as he was gonna be very busy the next week or so.
  22. All a bit of a mess. Spooner appears in the lakeside declared team on today's greensheets issue. Kent maintain Spooner is still under contract to them, and say Lakeside have NOT signed Spooner. Now in the last few minutes the bspa have tweeted referring to Spooner as a guest. Clear as muck...
  23. Kents press officer has just confirmed on the Kings supporters Facebook page. That Lakeside HAVE NOT signed Alex Spooner.
  24. I am pretty sure they can't redeclare Spooner as I am sure I read that Kent have Spooners contract for 2017. Hunter is supposedly injured, but as he is the only rider missing in the 1-5 the only facility available is rr. So it's far more likely that Spooner is riding as a 3.0 undeclared rider.
  25. Why when he has been told that Hurrys average dosent fit by the bspa, is he knowingly taking an illeagal team all the way to stoke when any points earn will get deducted anyway? Or the match referee will not allow him to ride.
