  1. Had everything tonight except any controversy.
  2. Tbf my sources are normally pretty good (or I would not post about it and look stupid) But did not take a source to work out the formula for Saturday. Gonna be a good night for speedway regardless of the result. Big crowds, huge noise and a bit of needle.... cant wait.
  3. Just seen that as well 9.35 Williamson 8.82 Knight. So my source has the wrong end of the stick.
  4. Hear from a good source that Powell WILL be rested as I suggested Saturday and Williamson guests for Knight.
  5. Same with Hopwood for kent, so it's fair to assume Bowtell will be granted same courtesy too.
  6. Hopwood has been given permission to ride the 2nd leg, and same for Bewley and Smith at BV. Common sense prevails shocker....
  7. Brennan only score 11+1 in his last 8 rides at kent, so not his favorite track.
  8. At a guess Spooner, o keefe or Laker. (On the assumption that Kemp rides for Eastbourne.) Of the three, Spooner was quickest at the SDL double header last week.
  9. Fully expect team changes to be announced by the budgies, and expect Kemp and Edwards at reserve for them. Which really makes it hard to replace Bradley Andrews who will miss the first leg. The last 2 meetings have produced 12 and more recently 18 point home wins so think a ten point win is not out of the question. But with our Arlington form this year, any win should make us favorites for the second leg. The rain is now due to start about 6pm but we have raced a couple of times this year with constant drizzle and the track can handle it so fingers crossed for 15 heats.
  10. I should imagine they will rest Powell and use a guest for Knight at Arlington, and use Kemp and Edwards at reserve both legs.
  11. As a kent fan I would not be happy Bowen risking injury for another play off team.
  12. I ll eat my words a little Woolley Harris and RTD all performed well!
  13. Woolley for Clegg I fully understand the reasons for at least one representative of each club but the likes of Woolley and Harris (both of whom I like I might add) will struggle in this, and will do nothing to enhance the meeting.
  14. Pretty sure there will be further changes as doubt Mountain will be fit. Also suspect Mitchell Davey will be banned after his mechanic and mechanics son assault on Bowen last night, as riders are responsible for thier mechanics and guests actions. So looks to be getting a weaker field again. Seems rediculous theat Bowtell gets the nod over Boxall for example.
  15. If Lakeside are allowed to jump 2 leagues because they fancy it then that makes the whole sport an even bigger joke, and the whole of the 2017 season has meant nothing. Cook should be rounded up with another half dozen or so dodgy promoters and stripped of any licences they hold. Lakeside have always had dire crowds and the are not going to improve now. Jon Cook clearly thinks he is bigger then the sport, and it won't wash for me.
  16. The bspa stopped NL teams signing assets for a starter, and at a meeting that NL Clubs could not even attend. There is the priority rules written clearly for example original fixtures takes priority over the rearranged fixture. Yet this rule gets overlooked when the National League is concerned. It's so much the poor relation it is unfunny.
  17. Surely there most be a venue available to get this meeting done before the cut off date. If there is a chance of a title tilt in the play offs available, surely it would be worth having a financial loss making meeting to give you chance?
  18. Thing is how many promoters actually promote.. .
  19. KENT KINGS Luke Bowen. 9/10 Done everything you can ask of a number 1, scored maximums for fun. Missed a month or so of the season and came back probably a few weeks early but you would not of known it. Luke Clifton. 7/10 The two nasty injuries continued one of the unluckiest returns to the sport possible. More frustrating was Luke looked far more confident and had more speed this season. Jack Thomas. 9/10 Jack has a big future in this sport, he rides beyond his years and is very rarely rattled, can ride the tight Line when required but is at home riding the dirt and pulling off big passes in the big races. Equally as polished off track well and is great with the kids, has time for everyone and is a genuine well manored young man. And for the second season running he has kinda been under the radar a bit. Ben Hopwood. 8/10 Ben has upped his game massively for 2017 and has been key to Kent success, and the lad has some balls because some of his swoops around the outside are against the airfence and the speed he can generate off of turn 4 at CP is quickest I ve seen. If I have one fault is he doesn't tend to look out for his team mate too much. But outscored his average from day one, and has been unlucky on a couple of occasions not to get rider of the night. Nathan Stoneman. 7/10 Nathan is one of those likable lads you want to do well. And he delivered a number of big performances, been a massive loss both on and off track. Nathan is another rider that if he can get a full season without injury will be riding at the top level very quickly. 100 percent trier and sometimes throws the odd point away trying too hard. Bradley Andrews. 8/10 Bradley started off the season, not being disrespectful but like he had hardly riden a bike at this level, but he knuckled down lost a serious amount of weight and he is a rider now that had out gate and match the pace of genuine Heat leaders. He does have a tendency to have a gentle slide off when looking behind mid corner, but I am sure he will iron that out no problem. Bradley scores have been decent but that does not tell the whole story, I don't think anyone has been unluckiest then Brad whether it be getting rough decisions, getting knocked off, or having races stopped when he has been ahead everything seems to go against him. If his season is indeed over then that is a massive blow to Kents title aspirations as he has been a key team member. Anders Rowe. 10/10 a 15 year old schoolboy who has beaten all sorts of high profile names. Don't wish to say too much about him as I don't think the lad needs unnecessary pressure of fan expectation yet. But appears to be a bit of a sponge, he listens to what advice he is given and is very keen to learn. Alex Sponer. 7/10 did a good job for the first month of the season, actually very unlucky to lose his team place. George Hunter. 10/10 In his relatively short time he has been the match winner on more then one occasion and has far outscored his average every meeting. Fast becoming one of the fans favorites, and you can tell he feels at home now. And another rider prepared to sling it in the dirt and ride around everyone. Dan Greenwood. 8/10 has come in and been solid without being spectacular. Starting to form a lethal partnership with Ben Hopwood providing kent with one of the strongest engine rooms in the league. Ben Morley. 10/10 hardly dropped a point in a high number of guest appearances for kent and further increased his lead as all time top scorer for kent. James Laker. 7/10 not really been given as many opportunities as he should have been, but been coming on leaps and bounds and will be one of the better 3 point riders next season.
  20. Jason you smell.... and I think I am coming up Sunday. ......
  21. Unless Scunthorpe release him I see no way within the rules that Bailey can ride for Eastbourne.
