  1. This Butcher lad must have something about him if they chose him despite him not officially being one of the riders being looked at for the position.
  2. Unsuprising. Been a horrific few months for such a lovely lad.
  3. I ll meet ya for a craft beer if you give directions.
  4. Think he misses our NT trip to Plymouth and the KO Cup match at Plymouth if we get through the 1st rnd, in addition to our league match at Buxton. All things considered not too bad, and it's already paying off for young Jack winning heat 2 tonight and then getting a 3rd in his next ride. Proud fan moment.
  5. Mildenhall Kent Brum Coventry Eastbourne Iow Buxton Belle vue Plymouth Stoke
  6. Considering it snowed all afternoon and night at Arlington Saturday , the shale looked in good condition. Hardly any cars went on there during the evening, 'so I would say the conditions have affected the track rather then the stock cars.
  7. As it stands our opener and Buxton away in august. So on the face of it not a disaster for Kent, the problem arises if both sides are successful later and reach play offs etc. But riding at the higher level on a weekly basis and for such a professional club as Glasgow can only benefit Kent with even greater progression for young Jack.
  8. Iwade has been venue for last 2 p&p, think both stadium accessibility and the fact that Sunday is far more convenient for the riders not having to take an extra day off work. I think the use of the track for the SDL meetings is 2 fold. It's not using up a Monday night at the stadium barring in mind we are not allowed 2nd halves. And Len has said that being on Sundays allows visiting teams to bring their full squads, our end of season double header featured both away teams tracking the same riders. Having a training track to practice on so close to the stadium is something that hopefully looks like is being fully embraced this season. I know Lens prefered choice was to run at Iwade last year but with no scb licence this was not possible then. To be noted after practice at Iwade, there is a meet the riders evening at central park. With free entry and free buffet plus the bar and pizza outlet opening up too.
  9. Yeah Paul Hurry very unhappy at being dropped from his mates tribute meeting. Also been posted on Facebook that much like the 5k owed to Nielson that Hurry is also still owed money. Wonder how many others have been affected by this?
  10. From my understanding of the lad that's how I see it too. If he gets his passport then no problems. If he is British enough for the British government, then I can't see how a group of motorsport promoters can claim any different. Whilst not legally binding the bspa could get him to sign a document indicating his intention to represent GB.
  11. Kean is one of those riders that uses no throttle on the straight and pins it when he gets into the bend. So perhaps the wide spaces of Bell Vue may do wonders for his confidence.
  12. If you ever want fans of other clubs to come on, then I d Deffo be up for that at some point
  13. Tickets printed and by lucky coincidence my seat number is my old racing number #279
  14. So things from the q and A are being listened too then, fair play.
  15. Fair play, I wonder if the number of people unable to attend due to the late start time helped make this decision easier. Hopefully most of the line up can be retained for the restaging and that it goes back to an afternoon start time.
  16. Cost me 30 extra quid to transfer so will remember that for next time. Have to wait 3 days now for money to arrive then I can print my tickets. Then stress over
  17. It was the only one of the 3 options that was written in English. ...lol
  18. Think Len more or less said at the end of season, that there was no current plans to go up. Every season has been profitable so far and he implied the long term future of the club was paramount. Also all the time we have the tight curfew it's highly likely we would be accepted in the higher leagues anyway.
  19. I have booked 2 tickets on apex of 3 and 4 for 161 zlotys,Inc 3 Zlotys fee for printing my own tickets. Seems a strange system that I now have to go into the bank tomorrow to transfer my payment. But hey ho I am sorted and 8 rows back on the upper tier.
  20. Christ it's either vip or in the gods already! Someone is sorting my tickets this evening so hopefully we can stretch to 599 pzl
  21. Making my first trip to Warsaw for the gp, unfortunately I recently lost my job so as yet I ve not got my tickets. Does the gp sell out there or will I still be able to get decent seats in a few weeks time? Also being a capital city am I going to be able to survive 4 days with speaking no non swearing polish words. Also obviously Poland is far cheaper then the UK for food and drink etc but being a capital city does this make things much more expensive. Thanks in advance for any help.
  22. Tony Dart doing a few laps on his sidecar too, although strangely he has to take his leg off to ride I believe.
  23. Obviously with riders flying in etc the day could not of been changed. But could it not of been moved down the road to say kings lynn for the original start time. The big lose here will be the Ben Fund itself. I know from kent alone the planned coach trip was cancelled and numerous of us who were going up in cars are questionable a best. As one of the primary income streams this meeting should ve made available to the widest available audience.
  24. Hope and prey the classy George Hunter can get a spot somewhere. Was riding like a 7/8 point rider at the end of the season.
  25. Glad I ve not made my predictions so far as this probably pushes the Colts towards play off contenders. Bad luck for Lee I ve always considered moto x a risky hobby for riders/drivers of other motorsport diciplines
