I am in no position to name info as fact, just my understanding of the situation. As has happened in the past my info may be total fiction, but it has come from a credible source at least.

That's totally incorrect as far as I am aware, the rent has stayed the same but Deane has insisted the club pay the Vat on the rent.

Strong rumours on the terraces yesterday is that a minimum 2 year lease has been signed, securing the car racing for that period. Depending on who you listen too there are various names in the hat but popular choice suggests Deane Wood may of taken it on. Deane has speedway at his mildenhall stadium, sub let's to Ipswich witches at foxall, and he rents Arlington from the Dugards. So he is very familiar with working alongside speedway. Be interesting to see what develops.

Of those changes though, any to replace Injured riders should be discounted as a change imho.

Eastbourne v Mildenhall 21/10/18 Play Off Final
teaboy279 replied to cityrebel's topic in National League Speedway
Dugard fell on lap 2 but the race had entered lap 3 by the time the reds had come on. I had worked out who the ref was without looking after about 4 heats, as Mr Allen always insists on the announcer announcing how long is left of the 2 mins even when everyone is sat at the tapes gardening. . -
I 've only been with the team for 5 years but I sense that Sue probably ages twice as fast as the rest of us, literally her phone must never be more then a foot away from her charger. I can say the best texters to read can be the most hard work for the updaters. Often halfway through typing heat 10 comments and heat 12 result is coming through. Often it means ignoring visitors or family to sit in front a laptop, updating a meeting that sparks no enthusiasm in me, but I know to someone somewhere stuck at work or at a family do those updates are the most significant part of their day. As it would be for me if i was following a Kent away fixture I couldn't get too. That's why it works, we are all fans and want to know how our teams(or favourite riders) are doing and that's why it has worked for so long. It's for the fans by the fans.

Sad,but true

And ironically the Bangers crowds weren't as strong on the weekends that year, hence the swap back to Wednesdays for the cars and sat for the bikes the following year.

I asked bsi directly, and I am on the SGP mailing list. Neither of these official sources gave me any info on sales etc.
-
I am waiting on info on ticket sales, I guess like Warsaw they will go on sale with no press release, So I 'll do what I did for Warsaw and check the SGP website daily.

Eastbourne still need to arrange a 2 play off semis, and 3 league matches in mid October. Others have 3 or 4 meetings left, don't think adding semis is the greatest idea.....

Bspa confirming it's next Sunday 21st 3pm

Booked mine. 2 tickets row 11 just to The left of pits (The pits will be to my right). 55 quid including fees, and exchange rate. That's 33 quid cheaper then just my 8 year daughters ticket at Cardiff. Now it's a waiting game till 180 days beforehand before I can book coach/trains etc.

Normally I would agree, but as it looks possible Kent will have a power reserve for the first time, can we hold off this sensible rule until 2020..... please Lol, in seriousness I think the KO Cup should Deffo count as all teams compete in it, National Trophy should also count subject to say 80 percent of the league compete in it.

All but confirmed National League last year, whilst he is the only rider who is officially signed, speaking to various lads 5 of our team seems set in stone. 6 if the planning application for Saturday racing next year is passed.

I believed it was announced tonight he has signed for 2019. I didn't actually hear that but I 've heard it a dozen times since. Standard wise his race winning times were comparable to heat 2 and heat 8 winning times. Great result tonight, I think so many people were happy for Armo to win something at our place and his victory was cheered as if a home rider had won.

This is why the governing body should be independent, you can all get on your high horses about Buster all you like BUT push cones to shove he is in a no win situation. If he didn't use Adam Ellis tomorrow he would not be doing his Kings Lynn position justice. And by allowing it to happen he is not doing British speedway chairmanship justice. Until regulations are set independently from those with vested interests then these sorts of circumstances will always crop up. And any Poole fan who thinks that Ford and Middleditch would nt have done exactly the same if roles were reversed, are blinkered beyond belief.

I have emailed bsi but had no response as of yet.
