  1. The 2 households is for groups of over 6 people, ie a family of 4 can mix with another family of 4. 3 families of 2 CAN meet up, but 2 households of 2, and a household of 3 cannot. In simple terms any 6 people can meet up, but for groups of over 6 this is strictly limited to 2 households.
  2. No chance, simply due to having no put space.
  3. It's not a like for like comparison. I totally agree on that. My point is for some, a year or two break in Gps can make all the difference. And if a rider qualifies via the qualifiers/challenge,regardless of GP record he surely deserves his spot.
  4. Tai was woeful on his first gp season, didn't turn out too bad when he returned to the series Not a name that excites me but if he earns his place then no one can take that from him.
  5. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do#meeting-friends-and-family-indoors-rule-of-6
  6. I ll search through my email for my 2020 Warsaw tickets, once they ve been refunded I will email you them over.
  7. I don't think you understand the rule of 6 fully, it can be 6 people from 6 different households. The exception being that if 2 households add up to over 6 people, that too is allowed. That btw is for indoor mixing, and despite being a mostly outdoor location most stadiums have adopted this policy. So as long as groups are less then 6 people, or groups bigger then 6 are made up of two households then no rules are being broken?
  8. Yeah a fair number of Kent fans got our tickets today. Can't wait. Hopefully have a nice afternoon on the Quay and a bit of skidding action.
  9. Also worth noting that the Kent promotion aren't complaining about losing money every meeting. That's because the team is built to a budget. Far better to finish bottom half of the table but still have a club the following season, then to win all the trophies and have to close. I am sure Workington fans would hand back those historic trophies to have weekly speedway again.
  10. If it is shown on just the player, for anyone who uses Amazon Prime, you can sign up to a free 1 week trial for eurosport player. Literally just go to amazon and put eurosport player into the search bar.
  11. Just want to confirm is it just the five heats or donthe final points count too?
  12. I agree, I d like to see Anders get all the heats with the others shared between Dan and Drew
  13. Tom was offered heat 15 but is still struggling a bit with a shoulder injury so that's why Heeps was selected instead.
  14. Unfortunately not going to happen, as Dan is away in Europe riding in u19 pairs at gdansk. As it's his home track out there I wouldn't be surprised if drew was his partner.
  15. Yes, had trouble with it freezing for the first 2 heats, but all worked OK afterwards. Very good to see Jake , who has yet to complete a full season in speedway yet, fighting for points at championship level.
  16. One minute sunshine, the next monsoon like downpours. Been the same pattern over most of Kent.
  17. Believe Tom was raring to go again before the postponement. Not sure about Paul though.
  18. Really was a special feeling walking back into the old girl Saturday night. 4000 was the restricted limit and that felt empty still. Cracking venue.
  19. So championship speedway finally arrives at Central Park. Very hard to predict as 2 of the home team and 5 of the guests will have never ridden the track before. If Bacon and Starke can score well in the engine room. And Nicholls and Heeps take to thier new home then Kent could surprise the defending champions. Around Central Park I have to favour Morley and Gilkes over the twins (a reverse of what I expect at Beaumont park). I think what ever the result just seeing live speedway again after so long away, and with the added spice of the historic first "professional" speedway meeting it will be an evening to celebrate whatever the result.
  20. Well the team suits looked very smart in the pictures from today's practice at Leicester. Hopefully the boys had a productive afternoon.
  21. You would like to think if its a long term plan then it gives a pathway into and through the sport. For years any scot wanting to even start the sport would have to travel some serious miles just to practice.
  22. Can only see a big home win, with Flint and Bickley probably untouchable. I am fully expecting strung out races and limited passing, but I am happy to pay to see some competive British speedway action, once again
  23. I honestly imagine it depends on the money involved. For example if a stadium such as Cardiff with a roof and a massive capacity became available I imagine many of the hoops say for example Poole with a smaller capacity would have to jump through would be removed.
