  1. Wilson dean goes well at our place and is a likeable young man. Certainly wouldn't be disappointed with that. Think he would interact with the fans well. Dont know the person but not a big fan of heeps on track as seems to blow very hot and cold. If you get the world class heeps he would be near top of the averages, if you get the poorer Heeps he ll be heading to reserve. Not heard of Stella, so I d prefer a young brit. But I dare say we may have one or two unheard of Europeans to try build up an asset portfolio. If one takes off your on tona winner, think I am right to say that a non UK debutant would have an assessed average of 5.0??? which is a massive gamble in my opinion.
  2. Anything but an eastbourne fan, but for the 2nd year running they have tracked a completley British team, and I can only compliment that. Hope kent follow suit.
  3. Wells Kurtz Sedgeman are the very types of riders I feared when stepping up. Much rather some young Brits
  4. With Poole Somerset and Brum all being weds clubs as well that's 6 free weds for National League straight away.
  5. Drew is on a 4. Something average so depends on how they build the team.
  6. Be great to see our 2 reserves in the champ be 2 of the 2019 NL side. And drew at #2 as well. Looking at Lens 2nd tier history you can see a Kennett,King,Nicholls character coming in as captain. I personally hope for an all british team, or as close as possible. I d rather have a mid table side of relsteble riders, then a winning team of riders with no affinity with the fans. But exciting times, shame we lose Rowe at this level, maybe if he wants another season of NL we will keep him for another year there.
  7. Some of the comments arent very complimentary.....
  8. In previous years haven't we had updates during the AGM, even if it's a rather generic statement?
  9. No offence but running a 4 rider NL to accommodate the upper leagues is nonsense. Especially when you have stand alone clubs.
  10. Kent confirmed at final meeting that they will run NL regardless and hope to add a championship side to it. Speaking to Leicester officials and sponsor during the Play Off trophy presentation, I got the distinct impression they are hoping to be back.
  11. So how many teams realistically can we expect. Kent,IOW,Mildenhall all definite I assume. Get the impression Leicester may be back to give the Thompsen twins another season. Dont see any reason for Colts not being in there, thier crowds are good enough to make it viable. CVS has kept quiet on Cradley with the other two promoters stating they arent carrying on, so potential for them to come to tapes. I think there 2 clear rumours about Rye house, one that they are coming back in the NL, (the other being it comes back as a buster track in the prem) so another possible. Think Lee Kilby indicated the Sprockets interest has cooled. Will any of the other higher league teams enter a side to bring on thier own riders. If buxton could viably come back it could boost the numbers, be nice if one of the Scottish clubs had a NL team to give young Scots a route through.
  12. Would love nothing more then an all british team, but len has already indicated a surprising big international signing is potentially lined up. Cant see Woods ever riding in a kent jacket as his popularity with Kent fans is about zero. Early this season the Gilkes camp indicated Dan would spend another year just doing National League only.
  13. Sorry, was just wondering on total sales. I got mine a day after release and ended back up on the top tier this year.
  14. What's the sales at now. Planning on going by train via berlin again. I thought potentially i might have to do it alone and meet my group there. But the 2 first timers I have coming are looking forward to the train as part of the trip. And hopefully the third will be able to confirm his attendance soon.
  15. I dont think the NL have a pre AGM, they wait to see what crap has rolled down hill from the the big boy AGM and then make plans after that.
  16. Wasnt the average limits, and the conversion rates from CL to PL set for the next few years to gradually open the gap between the 2. Or was it just the conversion rate that was set in stone? Also wasnt a rule introduced that for riders doubling up the higher league average was going to be used and the conversion rate applied to the lower league? Having moved recently I dont have to hand my print out of the AGM press release on the subject atm.
  17. There was an pre AGM last Monday, and the discussions then were based around 3 leagues again next year. Of course all needs ratifying at the actuall agm.
  18. Tbf until we meet the criteria set out it's only an application so could be seen as assumptious by the planning dept if they start publicising too much? I also know Derek has recently moved house, so time for releases is probably limited at best.
  19. When I heard the international rider quote, Kasper Lykke was the first man I thought of and feared.... haha
