From what I've heard Blackie's problem is pretty serious so who knows..I certainly wouldn't axe him from the side for Porsing if he's fit though.

Somebody please help Konopka out with his equipment or a good mechanic.. He's only finished half the races he's started for us so far..he's a decent starter and would've had at least 6 points tonight.

Panthers only missing R.Lambert for this one..anyone know the Sheffield line up?..weather looking good..expect us to make hard work of it again although track is always better (more grippy) for the evening meetings but this may well suit Tigers as much as Panthers.

Gutted we blew this one but from what I've read if it sparks a revival in terms of saving Scunny (one of our closest rivals in terms of distance)..then I'll swap 4pts for that because I feel your pain because as a Boro fan I can't remember when we last finished a season without a threat of closing and it is not nice. I've realy enjoyed this season under our new promotion and even if we don't win anything if we end the season with no talk of things coming to an end I'll be happy..anyway back to the meeting we got a point so not a total disaster.

I think they should bring in yet another new rule...if half your team us missing then meeting should be cancelled.

I agree with Barrow boy..Lambert made it to first bend pretty much level with TJ then TJ turned left and put Lambert up the grass slope which I think is too steep to be next to a speedway track..if it was any other track Lambert would probably had his front wheel over white line and come out of first bend in front..I didn't think it was a bad meeting but then that's probably because I enjoyed watching us smash what I thought was a good Berwick team..Simon Lambo superb..man of the season award already for me..again we chose good guests..and the most amazing thing for me was that panthers all found they're gating gloves again after month of them going missing!..Konopka is a decent gater..but please Ged either help him out with an engine or tell him to pin it more as his first bends ain't to bad so he's half way there!..In terms of Bandits TJ looked as superb as ever but what has happened to R.Hall since I last checked his scores?..for me Berwick looks a great track and stadium and also I think they are mostly all better standard than some of the elite league stadiums..if u can call them that.. (Lakeside, B.Vue).

No ones touched on this but Ged Rathbone has realy impressed me this year..and you could see why on TV last night and I've noticed at home meetings also..helping out with the bikes, giving riders pep talks, keeping his eye on and assisting with track prep, he observes the gating and I've even seen him bollocking our starting Marshall for not being prompt enough and Rightly so IMO..he really speaks well and says the right things and I can see how how into it he is (like a fan). I got good vibes from him from the off when I attended the big meeting to save panthers in the winter...I know there's a lot of man love going on there! but a top bloke and everything I'd want in a promoter and long may it continue..cheers Ged!..hope I speak for many appreciative panthers fans which I'm sure I do.

Yes I would rather have Roynan and Bowen than grondal and konopka...is that OK with you?..and i suggested Kurtz and fish as replacements for the Berwick match along with a few other riders as I wasn't sure about averages and couldn't be arsed to check so thanks for picking me up on that. Anything else?

I just can't understand why we didn't play it safe and go for Roynan and someone like Bowen.. But we have what we have now so let's give them a chance and get behind them.

I agree..Emil looked the part but so did Barret when he first arrived so we shall see..early indications looked good though...not so sure about konopka.

Yeah..I would go Brady kurtz or Lawson for Ulrich and fish,kus or Hansen for grondal..and r/r for MPT...or even Roynan for MPT and r/r for Grondal..got a feeling Roynan has beef with Panthers though and who can blame him when we choose a Joe average foreigner instead of dropping him back in.

Dont see that i need to grow up Homo for giving an honest opinion..Like I said its speedway ..I've seen Bjerre do exactly the same move when he rode for us..and I didn't see it how you did...Osterguard is a nice fella and wouldn't have meant any malice..has more personality than both the Bjerres put together. To be fair though I'd say Redcar deserved a point but we've had some go against us also this year (Plymouth ko cup away)..it usually evens out and its not like you will make the play offs anyway.

Sounds like he needs to grow up in more ways than one..it was a 50/50..harsh decision but Ully was in front and Bjerre could've shut off. I've seen him do the same to someone else. rubbish happens..its speedway, not tiddlywinks..so take it like a man baby Bjerre..dropping the C bomb ain't a great example to any kid fans you may have.

Roynan was flying today and then blew his engine and wasn't so fast on his other one. You see this a lot at the showground as its a full throttle track. I remember it happening with Kus last season also and on many other occasions with other riders. I don't know if many people know this but an engine gives optimum performance leading up to when it finally let's go like today in Roynans case.

Track was good, racing was good, Grondal looks the part but will need help and time, Konopka needs to find some speed and help with gating and we might be OK..good effort from Redcar..they look OK now and probably deserved a point as Bjerre was unlucky to be excluded in an epic battle with Ulrich and also in heat 1 when it could have been all 4 back. Was good to see the new lads putting in some practice laps after the meeting..Grondal would score more points if he can cut the lifting out when he traps. Konopka would score more points if he could trap and had more speed!..can't he borrow Ollie's bike (Allen I mean)?!

Glad to say I'm eating my words so far..Grondal looking good and even Konopka looked decent in his first ride.. Track is how we like it early on...heavy!..and that's the key to our home track advantage...needs to be like that every week, though I'm not getting too carried away..its only Redcar but I think on paper they ain't a bad side...defo won't be eating my words about Roynan tho...why did we not get him back again!?
