No offence but shouldn't we be talking about this season?...we could still actualy win something!

..also the track/racing has been considerably worse on Sundays.. Maybe they should consider just evening starts next season as Sunday afternoon (even since they changed it to 5pm) seems to blow our home advantage.

To be fair Lambert gets stick because of his lack of commitment to us..and only that and rightly so IMO as he has only ridden half his fixtures for us with mostly feeble excuses like the post world cup and Fours fiasco amongst many others. He is one of the best young british riders ive ever seen but based on the way he has messed us about this season id rather not have him here again even though im a fan. This hasn't happened at all with Kings Lynn so they have no reason to give him stick but trust me with the lack of respect he has shown to the premier league he would get the same amount of stick anywhere else so it's nothing to do with people from Peterborough being whingers..give me a team full of committed Simon Lamberts anyday of the week instead.

I'm surprised someone hasn't put a list on here yet with fixtures and reasons why Lambert has missed them!

Actually mate Ask any Panthers fan..Simon Lambert is one of our top 3 for sure this year..he has won us a lot of points.

I agree with CJ but I don't think he should be calling his best young rider stupid in public.

I beg to differ..we was on a 5.1 plus he would have been out in heat 15 and this would have made a big difference to the score..I have to agree with Pantherman though. I have also fell off my motorbike before when I've been enjoying it too much!

I agree with Panthers89.. I'm afraid Lambert showed inexperience chasing the dirt seeing how fast he could go whilst miles in front and that cost us the match. Saying all of that I'm just glad he's OK after ragdolling 30 yards down the track. Don't know whats going on with MPT lately and although his score was decent I can't remember when Blacky last won a race for us?..only plus point for us today was Grondal. Well done Monarchs though..they smelt the blood and capitalised.

Anyone interested in this?..If we win this we have a good chance of finishing the season top..Bowen in for Lambo and r/r for Ulrich I believe..not sure about Monarchs.

Am I being dim or have Panthers dropped a major clanger by not giving Lambert an r/r?..unless updates are wrong.

Wonder if Harkness will let that happen..ifso arguably we are stronger with Hansen, whether and r/r..don't think we'd have got anything up there anyway.

It realy annoys me in speedway..particularly as a Panthers fan there are so many secrets and stuff swept under the carpet..the amount of stories that I've heard that have never come out in the open over the years..I'm guessing the Lambert saga is just another one of many.

Are you Robert Lambert?..joking aside it at the time I was annoyed but it all became insignificant as the afternoon went on.

If it was a one off fair enough.. But there have been so many occasions this season including the infamous Ipswich home meeting amonst others that shows his lack of respect for Peterborough and no one rider is bigger than the club and it appears to be a p*** take. If he was crap he would've been sacked months ago.

All our thoughts are with Lewis..don't think it was a particularly bad crash but the fact that the force of the bike hitting the fence exactly where the gate is flung it open and Lewis followed it through and probably hit something..never seen an air ambulance visit a speedway meeting before..hope its not as serious as it looked.

Track is always crap on a hot Sunday afternoon..and why have they got kids racing after the track grading??..like there isn't enough races this afternoon!

I'm a Panthers fan and I don't care how good he is, I'd sack him as no one is bigger than the club. Id rather have a committed team man like S.Lambert (who's actually here with his arm in a sling helping out) who will be there if he can every week...anyway back to the 4's and what a pathetic performance from the Panthers and crap racing..wish I hadn't bothered to come like Lambert.

That is a good point as the lad has to think about his career aswell as trying to keep all his clubs happy. Its only because he is that good.Fans are speaking from a purely selfish point of view because he is a match winner but i guess there is a bigger picture for himself. Panthers management knew that when they signed him so maybe he gets more stick than he deserves.
