  1. Yeah i agree on current form I would've gone Grondal.
  2. Probably because of how brilliant he was for us as a guest last time.
  3. From what I can gather it was a thumbs up from the riders...Ashley Morris soon sussed it out..it sorts the men from the boys and gives us a big home advantage...every meeting I can ever remember losing at home was in a dust bowl..and this is also the reason the racing is usually crap at the fours.
  4. This was a strange one because the track had loads of dirt on like we've been asking for but the racing wasn't that great..it was important we won though. Busk looked great in his first 2 races but then stopped chasing the dirt and tailed off?.Ulrich looked superb again and has started to hit abit of form, Steady did race of the night in 15, Perry was poor until his last race where he looked his old self again, Grondal seemed to like the dirt and did well, Stokes managed a heat win in the reserves race but was way off pace after that and rider of the night was Ashley Morris who has impressed me so far...for them TJ, pijper and weathers did well but Doolan let them down...and good job he did as we may have been in trouble!...Keep the track like that guys and the home wins will follow...though looking at the fixtures we havnt got that many left.
  5. Probably because reality has dawned and we won't win any silverware again.
  6. Its easy to say that now but I seem to remember most of us were fairly happy with the team.
  7. Thought i read somewhere that Stokes was only in for the Scunthorpe meeting?..don't wanna be unfair to the lad but he's not quite premier league level yet and it doesn't help being in (now) one of the weakest Panthers teams I've ever seen..hate to say it but Berwick should win this...and following this with 1 home meeting in our next 8 matches with a weak team we are in serious trouble of our season ending early.
  8. You can keep NBJ..he's no good for us...i would have thought they would have piled the dirt on in anticipation of the rain but it was more like a big Lakeside track lastnight..Total respect goes to Cook and Ulrich for busting a gut round the outside but nothing more they could do..Panthers used to go all season unbeaten at home with an average team because the track was so grippy and this was a big home advantage..now its the opposite and makes for poor racing, then we will have nothing to ride for because we are out if everything and then poor attendance's...it needs sorting.
  9. Well done scunny on a deserved win..for us Cook was superb but always seems crap in heat 1, Ostergaard was absolutely ringing the neck our of his average motor!Couldn't ask for more other than some faster gear, Morris looked pretty decent, Stokes did OK, Grondal average, Perry a shadow of his former self and NBJ hasn't impressed me one bit all season. All in all we suddenly hava weak team...for them they all looked good apart from Kerr who's always seems to have a disaster at the showground..Don't know where we go from here.. How many changes can you make!?... Also why didn't they water the track later on?..played right into MPT's hands..should've known better and a good manager would have avoided it....I'll end on a positive though..heat 15...thats what its all about!
  10. Scunthorpe gave Glasgow a good hiding yesterday and fancy them to run us close with our under strength line up.
  11. To be fair at least it now makes the Scunthorpe match more competitive as its boring watching a 60-30 or whatever it was like last time...I'm abit worried for the Berwick match though.
  12. Oh dear what a bad couple of weeks for Panthers which could be whole lot worse come Friday...can't believe we havnt brought someone in...it means with Grondal off form getting loads of rides and now bringing in Stokes who I fear will struggle despite the effort..we are sitting ducks.
  13. I'm sure I read somewhere 70-80 on the straights...probably 85 at Berwick!
  14. Cant MPT get himself sacked at scunny?!..Thomsen would be ideal but think he's on a 6...Ellis is the only good fit that I can think of other than that. Best1-Peterborough..Fast, lots of lines, 2-Sheffield..same reason 3-kings Lynn/Poole..same reason 4-B.Vue(new)..early days but looking good Worst 1-Lakeside-Junior track,no dirt, awful 2-Ippo-Small,awkward/tight,no passing 3-Swindon-gaters paradise 4-Leicester-gaters paradise ..of the ones that I've seen..just my opinion of course.
  15. No I won't because I have friends in the real world..and why would I want to go to the 2nd worse racetrack in the country anyway?(no offense dftftb).
  16. Yeah but what's funny?..maybe you, sweaty sock and the other one should meet up and giggle together at your top notch banter..count me out though.
  17. Act your age chaps..I'd rather talk about speedway if u don't mind.
  18. Surprised there has been no comment from the supremo following the Last disaster of a meeting about that and what our options are going forward.
  19. ha ha...Wow what a life you must have led you adrenaline junkie!..why don't you and your bum boy do one and leech on to another thread somewhere else.
  20. I'd like to see how awkward your lots style would be flat out on a 500GM...70mph in the Yaris is probably the most high octane stuff you've done!
  21. No one cares what you think so why do you bother boring us.
