I have to say I wasnt that impressed with the team that was put together this year but I went to the Coventry match with high hopes only for them to be shot down in a couple of heats...This is a big one for Panthers and will tell us everything about how the season will go IMO..With the team and the track.

Just seen some photos of some absolutely shredded tyres from today...Wonder if they are the new "harder" compound tyres brought in for this season!.. Obviously no good on tarmac!.....Also just read that Johnson said the riders were full of praise for the track...Bull####!

From a team point of view it was abit worrying that Kerr, Bates and lesser so Baby Bjerre outscored our lot as I recall Kerr and Bates having some crap meetings at the showground.

I also was very disappointed with the track conditions..The lack of dirt meant no outside line which certainly didn't help riders like Holder, Ulrich and Hansen..Hope it's not a sign of things to come in terms of track prep..Didn't expect such a big crowd and also didn't expect such a spanking..Good to have the speedway back despite the moans..Things can only get better.

It's no good buying a team full of racers if the track is gonna be crap like this every week..Some parts have no shale left on after 6 races.

Not really much of a smack in the teeth as I prefer having Ged at the helm anyway...More like a blessing in disguise.

I'm sure most championship sides have 3 or 4 double uppers though so all in the same boat.

So we now have 4 riders that double up...I wonder how many meetings we will have a full team and it worries me a little about the commitment levels (remember R.Lambert?).
