Another stupid rule that makes no sense..who makes up this stuff?

On another subject if my calculations are correct the only teams who can qualify above us as best 2nd place in the champs shield (if we beat the bitches) are Scunthorpe who need 7 points from their 2 fixtures and Workington who have only rode 1 match so far (3pts).

Looks like we are going out of the cup with Lakeside winning at Ippo..thought we might go through as best runners up..until I just checked and found the other 2 groups have 4 teams in each group and we only have 3 which is not really fair.

He has been slow..nothing to do with starting from what I've witnessed(although Scott knows more than me!). He missed the start in heat 3 but must have changed something on his motor and his mindset as suddenly he was fast and aggressive and forced himself through like the Scott Nicholls we were expecting to see..and then went on to win his next race.

Even so I thought it was poor..Barker just wants to race his bike and all that didn't need to happen.

Personally I would rather see racing..im guessing the start Marshall's are not allowed to help so could she really not have raised the tapes to let the lads go to the pits and get them swapped and avoid all of that?

Bit of a nothing meeting really..the highlight was the real Scott Nicholls finally turning up in his 3rd heat (hopefully his turning point)..really fast and aggressive so this was great to see and would love to know what change he made. Barker was value for money as usual and Margaret jobsworth Vardy hang your head in shame for making a farce of heat 15..was there any need for that??..

Go on boys..get in there!..imagine what we can do when we get Scotty and Lunna going!

So..early season and Panthers have beaten 2 of the league favourites even though 2 of our new guys haven't got going yet.. wondered what all the doom mongers (Flappy etc) thoughts are....

I thought it was a good meeting to start the season with some cracking racing. Thought the score flattered Lakeside as it was always comfortable. How the ref didn't exclude Newman for his filthy move on MPT is beyond me..and Ellis nearly put Grondal in the fence in Heat 15 also. On the whole I was impressed with Panthers as I'm sure Lunna and Nicholls won't have as poor a meeting as that again.

Hi people..has anything been said about premier sports showing Polish/Swedish speedway this year or should I cancel my subscription?..or are these leagues being shown elsewhere?..anyone heard anything?cheers
