  1. So the champions elect start their campaign with a tough opening fixture against last year’s fortunate league winners. Looking forward to speedway getting going again at the home of Scottish Speedway although unfortunately I’ll need to take this one in via stream. Let’s hope for some sun. Edinburgh Monarchs: Pickering, Fredriksen, Thomson, Castanga, Sedgmen, Coles, James Possilpark Tigers: Harris, Pearson, Flint, Starke, Worrall, Complin, Pijper
  2. Anyone at P&P today? How did the boys look?
  3. What’s his average? Looks like things have move/been taken down from the SGB website
  4. Would Borke fit? I know there was chat of him at Berwick but he isn’t going to fit there now.
  5. I’m sure I’ve previously downloaded fixtures to my calendar. Have I imagined that or does anyone have an idea how to do it?
  6. I would respectfully disagree. It takes something like this for other teams to sit up and take note. It’s a real shot in the arm.
  7. Let’s turn that into a positive though. This gives the female riders in this country something to aspire to as gaining a team place in the championship is now on the cards.
  8. Brilliant move by Workington - I’ll definitely be making an effort to get my little girl along to see her ride. Excellent stuff.
  9. Really strong team but Paco will definitely be back and it appears we’ve maybe dithered too much and Borke has been offered a team place elsewhere.
  10. I’d take that team tbh. Would need Thomson to really step up
  11. Still a bit to play with. Any obvious candidates if we go with Sedgmen and Riss? I feel Paco will be included though so that kills that notion.
  12. I'd 100% take Riss before Sedgmen but not distraught at the thought of having Justin back.
  13. I'm not sure Josh was too impressed with the situation Cookie left him and the rest of the team in last season so i'd be surprised if he wanted to ride with him again.
  14. Welcome back Kye. Needs to really kick on next year though - shows glimpses but could make himself a really solid championship heat-leader with a bit more consistency.
  15. We’ve got quite a few riders in the championship not ready for that level. Inevitable really when you cut the totals.
  16. Actually I was looking at his wrong average. I thought it was 5.57 when in fact it’s 4.57. Makes it much more manageable.
  17. It is. I do wonder whether they’ll do all they can to squeeze Borke in though. Lasse’s average isn’t too appealing this season sadly so he might miss out
  18. Interesting no mention of him being an academy rider too. I’d have thought that would be a given.
