Not much of a contest but Poole didn’t have a weak link really. Even Zach Cook who would be disappointed with his return had some speed. Good that Lawson got some laps in ahead of Friday but Kye slowing as the meeting went on was a bit of a worry. I thought Jacob was worth more than his three points and would almost certainly have got a paid win had he not been clattered in ht14.

Confirmed at the meeting that he’s not expected back this season. The ban might have seen to that anyway.

Kinda makes no difference. Not sure I see him racing again this season anyway.
