I didn’t suggest that; I merely pointed out that it wasn’t impossible as was suggested. All trains on the east coast mainline between Peterborough and Edinburgh from lunchtime onwards were on time or only very slightly delayed.

The east coast mainline ran well all day. It’s irrelevant as she didn’t make it but for the original poster to suggest it was impossible is just wrong.

The train from Peterborough takes less than four hours.

Enjoyed that meeting this evening. Some good racing and great to see Coles attacking the track - let’s see more of that in the Championship. Dayle Wood is a complete enigma - looks classy in some heats and then struggles badly in others. Great return tonight though.

Disappointing result to say the least. Didn’t have an answer for the classy Danny King and “hard racing” Charles Wright. I know he’d had a good evening but putting Kye in the last heat felt odd - Josh is always going to have a better chance IMO - not convinced it would have changed the result however. Wish we could have an evening where both reserves get in amongst the points.
