  1. Nah, keep up. Last week was when we accelerated the decline of British Speedway by preparing a grippy track. The league win would have come in a month or so had it not been for our pesky Grand Prix asset.
  2. No Edinburgh in the play-offs - a tainted title for the eventual winners.
  3. Sounds a good laugh. Not in the same league as the famous weejie patter though natch.
  4. Dark glasses is a decent shout - protect my eyes from the glistening Monarchs trophy cabinet. What have the mighty comets won of late then? I also let slide a Workington fan cracking jokes on the future of another club - irony off the scale.
  5. Of course it’s tongue in cheek. Ffs, people are so bloody precious (not specifically directed at you Gaz). The Edinburgh promotion set up a track to win a speedway meeting (their job btw) and slightly over-cooked it. I’m sure they’ve learnt from it. Talk of “this is what is ruining speedway” and “opposition riders might think twice about visiting in the play-offs” is hyperbolic pish.
  6. Injuries to riders is just a small price to pay for Championship domination.
  7. Another of the pretenders to the title dealt with. The march to the title continues.
  8. Not sure. I assumed it was the match referee but no idea tbh. You’d think it would be.
  9. Agree with the slow red light when Gregor Millar went down. The helmet getting caught wasn’t ideal but I kind of agree with letting it go if it gets the race underway and no-one is obviously injured. We’d already had quite a few restarts. I thought Archie Freeman and Luke Harrison were mightily impressive. Also given, he is EIGHT YEARS OLD, Caydin Martin was tremendous. Really enjoyed seeing all the riders give it their all.
  10. Yeah, Powderhall is the wrong end of town. Once my Euromillions win comes in, the blue and gold will have a shiny new home in the West of the city.
  11. Yeah that’s a fair assessment. All home sides should set up a track to suit home riders - it’s maybe just that Armadale is a tad easier to do than others. Good riders like Nicholls, Barker, Worrall (as a Tiger) etc have proven this year that it’s not impossible to score well as an away rider.
  12. Ooh the hurt is good in this one. Can someone knock up a trick track trophy please and we’ll display it next to the League trophy and the Knockout Cup.
  13. We’ll have it tricked to such an extent the opposition won’t be able to get a bike round it. 75-0. Marvellous.
  14. Can’t wait to get pumped 58-32 in the first leg of the play off final but still have the tie in the bag due to the trick track. *insert very smug face*.
