Watched bits and pieces of it last night and really enjoyed it - loved that time watching Edinburgh. Great seeing some old faces.
Anyone any idea if Geoff Chandler is still floating about speedway? He was a character.
Proper number one. Two reserves that know the drill and should get in about the points. Second strings are unknown no doubt but the heatleaders can shield them a bit until they get on their feet. By all accounts Pickering has been flying in Oz. Worrall could be our number one too, he’s that good.
So all in all it’ll be a piece of cake.
I attended a speedway experience day a couple of years back at Glasgow and Danny was doing some practice laps at Ashfield before our session started (i could be wrong but i think he started speedway at a similar experience day so knew the instructor) - i'm sure he was doubling up with Glasgow and Plymouth that season so was racking up the miles. Showed his commitment to the sport and also generally what the paying public don't see. A grafter and entertainer who will be sadly missed. RIP.
Edinburgh to walk it and muller the weej in the championship final.
Masters is the strongest rider in the league by a distance IMO. Cook has had his day.
Craig Cook could ride for Glasgow for the next ten years and not win the same number of trophies as he did in blue and gold. I'm sure he's trying his best for you though despite him not being at the peak of his powers.
