Yes and I think Alex Harkess alluded to that in the British Speedway podcast. Armadale is never going to be luxury but I think any significant investment has been avoided because of the uncertainty around its future. Whatever direction we go it needs to be settled in the next 4-5 months otherwise I can’t see Edinburgh racing in 2023.
While I wouldn’t discount the option of buying Armadale if it was in any way feasible I can’t help think it’s a chance to make a fresh start. Something purpose built over a period on land that was secured.
While it is not enough to buy/build a new stadium the fantastically supported and run Monarchs Fan Trust has a relatively healthy balance sheet which you would imagine could go towards the cause. Hopefully a site can be identified soon and then we can turn our attention to the finances.
A break in 2023 was my initial thought too. Turning round a new home in under 12 months is hugely ambitious - that is unless talks have already taken place.

Quite a job on the promotion’s hands to find an alternative.
Yea don’t disagree and when the team was out together it always looked like that was the risk. One small positive of late is that Thomson is scoring better. Not enough to be considered a heat leader but better. Sergeant is very hot and cold which isn’t what we need at all.
Anyone know whether Ekstraliga matches are shown on other European channels? Any Danish or Swedish? Can’t get my Polish channels to work - canal+ seems to have football the whole time for me.
Well they almost pulled off the impossible. They can hold their heads high after that and particularly with us being so weak at reserve. Sam imperious. Did Kye just not fancy the last heat?
