Fair to middling chance that this is the final competitive meeting at Armadale. Obviously I hope that’s not the case but Edinburgh will be 50 points on Friday minimum.
Both teams at full strength?
I would be amazed if Edinburgh get past Leicester. I wouldn’t be surprised if we lost the Armadale leg tbh. They were miles better than us there earlier in the season.
So the whole thing should have been done behind closed doors meaning Edinburgh wouldn’t have the opportunity to demonstrate the support from fans and the community? You think someone who was looking to build industrial units in the area was only alerted to the availability of the land because of the Edinburgh bid? Nonsense.
What utter utter drivel. While ultimately the decision is not what everyone hoped for, the Monarchs needed the local community to rally round and lobby the council.
Is there a mute button on this forum btw?
Should be a good meeting this. We’ll need a decent lead to take down the road as we saw from the cup match.
Who can the Bears have as a guest for Erik? Would Nicholls work? Or Harris?
Absolutely agree. Sam shouldn’t have been out but I get the feeling he will always be given the option. Having to hug the inside line can’t have been very comfortable for his injuries either.
I didn’t suggest that this is good but people go overboard in their criticism. They also spend a lot of time talking down British speedway away from this evening’s events.
Speedway in the UK has no chance if everyone talks it down all the time. I think half the “fans” would be happy if it ceased to exist in this country just so they could be proved right.
