And so it begins. Both teams presumably at full strength in front of a bumper crowd as everyone returns to get their speedway fix. Struggle to see anything other than a comfortable Edinburgh win. 60-30........... Edinburgh Monarchs 1 Josh Pickering 8.92 2 Lasse Fredriksen 4.00 3 Kye Thomson 6.60 4 Paco Castagna 4.93 5 Craig Cook 8.24 6 Jacob Hook 4.00 7 Kyle Bickley 2.86 Glasgow Tigers 1 Chris Harris 8.76 2 Marcin Novak 5.00 3 Benjamin Basso 8.52 4 Claus Vissing 5.00 5 Tom Brennan 6.71 6 Lee Complin 4.00 7 Ace Pijper 2.00

Anyone know when press and practice is this year?
-
Feels like there would normally be season ticket news by now?
-
People in glass houses and all that. :-)
-
You too fella.
-
Taken in the spirit intended Gaz. :-)
-
He just needs loved.
-
Cook confirmed. Time for him to kickstart his career again after a few seasons in the speedway backwaters.
-
Don’t disagree but some who take issue with everything the club does or says come across like they have an agenda.

1.Edinburgh the rest
-
Glasgow the league favourites again? Good-oh. Always works out well…..
-
Going head to head with Edinburgh on a Friday evening was a bad move IMO. Sunday afternoon is more family friendly and you would get the odd punter coming along the M8 for their fix.
-
Sensible signing IMO. Two rookies at reserve would have been very risky.
-
Good to have Kye back. He’s our new Max Fricke in my opinion. Now just Lasse, Paco and Cook to sneak us in under 40.00. Decent side.
-
What’s his average? Does that suggest no Lasse then?
-
Who else is 111? Cook and?
-
Bound to be a signing announced tomorrow. We’re running out of days. Cook’s homecoming being kept until last?
-
It has to be Kye I think. Towards the end of last season he’d added a toughness to his riding. Not dirty but certainly stronger. Hopefully we see more of that next year.
-
Who told me that I think it would be a sensible signing? Me; I tell myself things. Isn’t that how it works?
-
Yes

Jacob Hook confirmed. Fancy him to really kick on this season. Welcome back Jacob.
-
I think that would actually be very sensible.

Decent looking line up for the Possilpark Globetrotters so far. It'll be interesting to see who the second reserve is - not sure they can totally gamble as they don't need any pressure on young Pijper.
