I have to take that bet especially with Lahti at reserve. -

Poole will win tonight and get 4th place simply because of the timing of Lahti going to reserve. He won it for them last night at Kings Lynn think if Starke was at reserve outcome would have been a lot different at KL and probably tonight, but that's the look of the draw. Poole could even spring a surprise in the play offs if Lahti is at reserve. -
Kings Lynn V Poole 31/8/17
Shockster replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Where's Tero Aarnio riding tonight. Kings Lynns Website says he is riding here and Swindon have him down to ride against Wolves? He's at Swindon. My mistake reading about last night at Poole. -
Belle Vue V Rye House 30 Aug 2017

Just my opinion and I'd have put KK's first ride down as a blip at the time and as I say he is the main man, again my opinion. Agree he should have let BB through. -
Belle Vue V Rye House 30 Aug 2017
Shockster replied to Speedwaycrazy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Was at BV last night as a neutral supporting Rye House (had a few quid on them). Have to say that it was a right hammering and BV outclassed Rye. Bjerre was never getting beat last night and I was surprised when Cook was to be honest. Tungate is/was very good at NSS also. Barker did well and Robson, KK + Ricky Wells tried hard but Nicholls for whatever reason was poor, just never looked like he had any speed. Morley understandably struggled. Not that it would have made any difference in the end, but why KK wasn't used as the tactical was beyond me. The top rider they have and paid for these moments (admittedly failed to score in his first heat) and Barker is given the Black/White. Team managers don't have much to do nowadays and just as well. Well done BV, but still hoping Rye make the play offs. -

Kurtz apparently has bikes over there and Holder has to drive his to the meeting. That's the story anyway. -

???? Belle Vue Website says Wright. SpeedwayGB website says Bjerre. Top notch as usual! -

SpeedwayGB website this morning says Lasse Bjerre guesting for Belle Vue and not Charles Wright. RR for Fricke & Harris. Pity it's not full teams but should be a close match. -

Sgp Wildcards 2018
Shockster replied to TheReturn's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well it's confirmed that Greg is now out for the season. If Greg decides he's riding next year then I believe he is the most deserving EVER of a Wild Card and it should be a given he gets one. However, it is entirely possible that he will decide to get out on top. i suppose he'll know after his operation. -
Relegation And Promotion Play Offs
Shockster replied to flagrag's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
With the Play off final dates much later than expected, does this mean the League cut off date will be extended so that all clubs can fulfill their fixture list? No reason to cram all meetings in before 6th September now surely???? Play off semis probably 18th & 25th September so cut off could easily be put back to 11th or 13th September? -
