From being there it reminded me a lot of the NSS Belle Vue track. I'm not sure that comes across on TV. The stadium and viewing is fantastic. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to be at the Wroclaw match and it's a cracker. Heat 12 is one of the best races I can remember.

I know this is not fool proof but I expect these 2 listed riders to take their place. Bookmakers have Vetlanda priced up at 6/1 and that would be too good to be true if Madsen especially was riding.

I'm in Wroclaw right now for their match v Czestachowa. Really hot over 30 degrees but also muggy. Apparently threat of a storm but at the moment it's mainly blue sky with not that much cloud. Fingers crossed they all go ahead.

Sounds like Miskowiak has been injured in heat 2 at Vetlanda after a clash with Kling.

If Vetlanda can get a scoring reserve, they now look the team to beat IMO.

I'm going next Monday to Poland and have just got tickets for Wroclaw v Czestachowa on the 29th July. It wasn't straight forward though!!! I had to sign up set up an account with Wroclaw and then buy the tickets. Sounds easy enough, but the Halifax declined my payment until I confirmed it was me and then still it wouldn't go through until I changed to a different card provider. Anyway all sorted and hopefully a decent match to look forward to.

Looking on the sky planner it looks like there is no LIVE Speedway on next Tuesday. Premier HD has Celtic in a Champions League qualifier on live and nothing on Freesports. Premier have highlights at 2am on Wednesday? Probably on other times also. A bit odd that it's not on Freesports if Premier showing football. Pity.

100% Correct. Tai was brilliant over the 2 days and without him we'd probably have been battling Germany for last place. Who knows why he chased Laguta, but he did!! Maybe the final got to him and he just wanted to win. Must be a bit alien letting another rider zoom off when it's in your nature to race. While I'm on here, regarding the tapes warning rule. Personally I'd let them all move at the start and unless they touch the tapes let it go, flyers are a great gate IMO. However, if we are to have warnings in this and the GP I'd say make it a clean slate when we get to the semis. If they move in either the semi or final then they get a new warning. The semi final on Saturday was very poor and a real downer for the meeting, although correct decision under the current rule.

In principal you're correct, but just can't see it. If a rider gets excluded for dangerous riding then they were probably going out anyway if they were trying to slow up the race to help the guy at the back. They may as well risk it as it's really a no lose gamble. If the result was after 21 heats, we wouldn't be having the debate.

Don't think it will happen. There'll be uproar if someone gets kicked out at the end and even if the ref does exclude a rider then the danger has already happened.

Heats 22 & 23 could be carnage tomorrow unless a pair gate on a 5-1. Basically in those 2 races it's irrelevant who wins the race. The only thing that matters is not to be last, nothing else matters. It stands to reason then, that if you gate and your mate is not with you, you have to slow the race down. It's totally insignificant if you're passed by an opponent as long as you're not passed by both. I can see this going badly wrong and it's dangerous. Agree earlier in the thread about Zagar slowing up. It caused a problem, but you can't blame Zagar as he was "team riding". This is more the reason why the champions should be the winner after heat 21. Understand totally about TV etc and finals but this doesn't come into play for normal GP's.

Great match that. Shame I backed Czestachowa -8.5. Terrific racing. I'm in Wroclaw on Sunday 29th July and hopefully they'll be riding Czestachowa. When are the dates and times confirmed? Could it be on the Friday? If it is on the Sunday what's the best way of getting tickets as I know they can sell out? Cheers in advance.
