My daughters company were at The Showground 2 weeks ago and should have been in the building situated on the 4th bend, but due to no electricity getting to it they all had to move to the arena building instead. I was actually surprised that Ulric's meeting wasn't effected. The electrics have needed upgrading for a few years now, with a bit of luck it may cut out the starting gate/lights problems we have witnessed over the last few years

They are selling seats on bends 3 and 4 so would appear this is the case

I am pretty lucky with this, sorted BT sports a couple of years ago for the baseball coverage. It's a pain that every 3 years we go through the same thing. Still hacked off about Top Gear !!

Doesn't take much ... at Peterborough each rider has their own music track which is played when they win a heat and they come round as its played. It isn't much but it helps!!

I work in a school with kids from 11 to 18 and you are right they do use language like that all the time .... However that is talking to one another, it is not acceptable to use it when talking to school staff or visitors and I would suggest also not acceptable if being interviewed on TV as a representative of your sport!

I was a huge fan of Mike the Bike and pretty sure he was banned for riding his bike the wrong way round the track and parking it on the start/finish line while the race continued. Banned for endangering the other riders.

I am sure I read an article many years ago written by Barry Briggs saying that one of his riding tricks when up against a rider who had for some reason found his way into Barry's 'black book' was to clamp the rider down and attempt to stamp his steel shoe onto the front wheel rim of the opposition which led to the rider flipping round. As I say it was a long time ago but stuck in my mind, don't think Nicki has attempted this yet

And as all the teams have found out there is no comparable rider available .... your answer is??

I respect all riders for doing what they and have done since 1976, I respect all levels of rider I was talking about the interest level being increased with the inclusion of Nicki in a GP, with the amount said about him over the last 10 years or so it is hard to argue that point surely

Spot on People are already licking their lips in anticipation of seeing what happens when Nicki takes to the track in 2 weeks time. Take him out of the GP at Cardiff and we are all talking about how is the track going to ride!!
