  1. Excellent news. I knew Poole did, but not Eastbourne. That's great two clubs already.
  2. Anything Janice to keep us entertained.
  3. If all clubs offered a free or reduce admission to NHS staff (On proof of I.D) after COVID-19 is done then it would be a great gesture, but the sport could also benefit from them spending money in the ground and hopefully bring in new fans if current NHS Speedway fans spread the word to promote the sport too and come and enjoy a night's racing.
  4. I like Roy and he brings some laughs and keeps our place at Redcar going during the meetings. Better than having someone who hasn't a clue on the sport or nothing at all. Maybe Newcastle could have a bingo caller during the interview that might be better for them. I agree what Rob Grant has done keeping the Diamonds going as nobody wants to see a team fail, but disagree with Pipey not getting a chance but that's speedway everyone tells me.
  5. Not worth the paper it's written on these days.
  6. Wonder if the same riders will still be there if Speedway runs this season They might be replaced before turning a wheel.
  7. After contesting part of the Redcar Speedway Open and Amateur Series last year before a cruel accident in Denmark forced Nicklas Clausen out of the rest of the season despite finishing second overall in the North East of England Series to fellow Dane and "Speedway Brother Jacob Bukhave " on the points system the Twenty Two year old has been active in his recovery and in the Gym as much as he can to be fighting fit ready for the season ahead. His partner Emma Hall told Speedway Fans Group " Nicklas has started in the gym again lost a couple of kilos doing spinning etc and will be back on a bike next weekend in Germany for a practice." It is unsure what Nicklas British Racing season will consist of, but he has proved around the Media Prima Arena how quick and successful he can be on his 500cc machine. Once again Nicklas will be backed by family and friends including his long term sponsors along with Ken Hall of V-Tec Garage Services, BB Plumbing & Heating Services, Sarah Hall Motorsport, Mark & Harry Lowe and CHR (Chrisy Holliday Racing). If anyone is interested in helping then please contact Nicklas Clausen himself or partner Emma Hall .
  8. George would be welcome here any day if it was him.
  9. People saying he's not a good manager. Why not give the bloke a chance or even more see how the team performs because if they are not good then who will the fans turn on Grant and the rest of the people involved ?as Jason wasn't there when the new team was picked.
  10. Welcome Jason Pipe Your new Diamonds manager. http://newcastle-speedway.co.uk/diamonds-source-a-new-manager-for-2020-welcome-jason-pipe/?fbclid=IwAR25X7cMEl5UIQyIPtkUNDzzM7-8TLbx66omO_WZw1pgpcBE18NkE_t3W0M
  11. What about give it a chance before it's pulled to bits straight away. You Geordies are an impatient lot
  12. Will miss seeing George in charge at Newcastle. Hopefully he will still go and watch.
  13. Must be two different contracts then And when did he ride for the Bears then last season
  14. in the reserves heat I'd like to see how they would compare against each other as you think Jacob is not a good enough rider. as a sponsor of him seeing him just wanting to race and all this being an asset crap is just a joke. He's never rode for the bears for years and the contract is not worth diddly. If he was an asset of mine i'd be promoting the lad to other teams if they needed a rider and bring some money to him .
