Tickets now on sale. Bought ours today. Another fantastic weekend in a great City is guaranteed with the added bonus of a Speedway meeting thrown in for good measure. What's not to like about that. 😀👍
But is a weekend in Wroclaw better than a weekend in Prague ! ? That was some weekend last year in Prague. Already booked flights for next May. Transport to and from airport to City centre and onwards to stadium can't be beaten for ease of access and cost 😀.
Another GP weekend with flights and accommodation for less than 2 nights in a Cardiff hotel
How about having a British team in the Extraliga more like !
How great would that be. Would have to be Belle Vue as it's the only decent British track available.
Our 2nd night tonight in Poznan. Tomorrow we're on the train to Torun and spend 2 nights in Torun for the GP. Home Sunday. All travel and accommodation for less than 2 nights in a Cardiff hotel for our own GP. Something wrong there.
Really enjoyed the meeting considering we were nonplussed about attending a venue over 5 hours from our home.
Seems a lot of people weren't that impressed with the racing which surprised us. We enjoyed it
Still think it's a disgrace that the majority of the hotels were half empty and still charging ridiculous overnight prices on the day. Not sure whether that's down to greed or due to a lack of staff in hospitality which is understandable.
Speedway GPs are a weekend event and ideally you stay locally. Its no good having cheap family tickets if there's nowhere affordable for them to stay.
Let's hope so. Prices now are ridiculous. GP's for us are a weekend away and not just watching a Speedway meeting.
Amazed that our own British GP is perhaps one the most expensive ones to attend in the whole GP calendar.
Are half the hotels in Cardiff going to be empty on Saturday night ?
Will people honestly pay nearly £200 for 1 night in a Ibis Budget in Cardiff . They must be mad.
We've always stopped but not this year . I refuse to pay more for for 2 nights in a Cardiff City centre hotel than we are paying for flights and 4 nights accommodation in Torun for the Polish GP.
Infact if we hadn't already arranged to go with friends we'd have given it a miss. Definitely the last one for us.
Whose idea was it not to have a draw and how long has this ridiculous rule been applied. I'm one of the target Speedway supporters who doesn't attend meetings anymore and how it's run nowadays that's not going to change anytime soon.
Aggregate scores level in a KO Cup match then by all means have the extra heat.
I'd go back to 2pts for a win, 1 point for a draw in all league matches. That's it no bonus points whatsoever. Keep it simple
Saw a post somewhere saying why don't people go to Speedway anymore.
Look no further than tonight .45 - 45 away at Sheffield. What a great point that used to be . Absolutely ridiculous that the home team walk away from that meeting with an extra point. Pathetic isn't the word.
