Thought he was back. I don’t follow Polish speedway closely. -

Laguta is not going to get caught up in a battle. Knows what he needs to do. Problem is he could get an engine failure unexpectedly. -

I won’t disagree with you, Kubera did well riding on his own track - twice. For sure they proved a youngster can do it once, maybe twice, but for a whole season, Lamvbert has shown it is a tough year. I repeat, where is Drabik and Smektala, these were the top under 21’s for a few years, they got Wild cards, but conspicuous by there absence. We’re they in the GPChallenge, it’s either GPChallenge or Euro Champ for them to qualify by right. -

Re should under 21 world champ get into the following year GP series……..Absolutely not. They are too young, not mature racers. A GP year needs more the a youngster doing well in one meeting. Look at Lambert, he has been ok this year, but he had a dabble partly full time and didn’t make the cut IMO. Where is Drabik, where is Smektala…. Really promising youngsters. Yes, they could well make the GP in couple years time, but it takes time to mature, get the stamina for a season long fight, plus sponsors etc. Recall Vaculik went missing for a couple or three years. That was his choice, he did well in his first GP appearance, but nothing spectacular afterward. He retired from GP, as he said, to mature as a rider, and that’s what he did. Emil left the GP scene because he was having sponsorship problems, it costs a lot to do a season of GPs, I understand prize money is not all that great. Must ensure under 21 world champ gets a wold card for a GP and in the list as series reserve. Just my thoughts. -
The incident was in heat 8 when Thomson (last) put Vaculik (third) into a heavy wobbler which temporary put Vaculik shoulder out of socket and he had to pull up. Vaculik is recovering from broken shoulder and collar bones and fighting to stay in the series next year. Vaculik was out the rest of last night and not riding tonight, finishing his 2021 GP season. After the race, correctly the ref excluded Thomson putting Vaculik into third.

Logically it’s got to be Madsen, Doyle, Vaculik plus Lambert and Thomson. That pick will upset those who want to see “new” faces. The new faces come in from Euro champ and top 2 of the 3 from GP Challenge (Fricke was one of those 3 for next year). I wouldn’t want to see 37 year old Kolodzeij, nor 35 year old Smolinski in the series, they had there chances. -
Sayfutdinov has been a brilliant gater in the past. And a brilliant rider. Have you forgot he was up with Tai when Tai won his first world champ medal. Emil had that very serious injury when Medinski fenced him - could have been career ending. Then of course Emil went AWOL from world GPs for 3 years. He come back not the racer as he was.

I don’t think living in social housing means the occupiers have fallen on hard times. They are for families who cannot afford, from their income, to pay the high price houses that some areas have. This would include low pay workers like nurses, care workers, transport workers etc. Those workers have been classed as “key” workers and no doubt they work in those sectors because they like the job, even though it’s not high pay. I think they may be upset if some class them as they have fallen on hard times. I think the not often used now term of council houses would have been similar in the past. I was brought up in a council house, and though we didn’t have bags of money we certainly was not on hard times.

Only if the riders can actually race. Round 1 of this years final was not spectacular, Round 2, yesterday, was a big wide track and riders were very strung out too much, some bikes gave up after a lap. Pardubice is a massive track, 6 riders wide for the starts on the Golden Helmet (Saturdays annual championship), and it’s long. I reckon actual racing will be very poor overall.

Premiership Play-Off Ties CONFIRMED
OveFundinFan replied to BartoszZmarzlikFan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Obviously you don’t watch much racing from the NSS then. Not every race is going to be a thriller, but when 2 or more are more of an even match the heat turns up. -

If someone like Jack Holder cannot get through a GP Challenge qualifier he doesn’t deserve to be in a GP, and someone suggest Jack replaces Fricke who did qualify for the GP Challenge and indeed qualify for next years GPs. -

Where was Jack Holder in the 2021 GP Challenge, was he entered, certainly not in the final. -

I found semi 2 Saturday nights on You Tube, all of it -
When an FIM meeting isn’t fireman Phil in charge of track preparation?? When BV had the final 2016 the Friday night the track was too grippy, NKIverson got the track record but racing was useless. From what I heard it was not the BV track staff that directed the track preparation. I assume the Saturday night the BV track staff were involved because it was slower but great racing.
