  1. All races on Discovery+ as I read it. If everyone looks for viewing for free Discovery+ plus may not get enough income to sustain any coverage, that could lead to no coverage at all….. then everyone will be moaning.
  2. I can view last years Premiership final rounds, so maybe GPs will be available for later viewing. Govonthe Discover+ website and ask a question, straight from the horses mouth.
  3. You can only be mislead if they said something that was not true or printed similar. You have not lost out because you were on SkyQ anyway, you didnt pay any extra for Discovery+ plus did you? Discovery+, even without sports, is not "basic". If you want to watch Speedway GP live, you know what you need to do. Like I said previously, we all like something for nothing, but sometimes we end up with nothing. Actually you got something something for nothing, access to Discovery+.
  4. I was mouching around big Tesco yesterday, they had a number of TVs on sale. 32" and 40" from 195 to 220 pounds with 3 HDMI connections. Sharp, Technika, TCL. You will know Sharp brand, Technika is Tescos own, and TCL is a massive Chineese copany now in the UK and getting good reviews.
  5. Speedway GPs will be shown live. It will have cost them fair bit of money to take it away from BT, so they need to recoup by showing live, not bits here and there on some channel. If people would actually subscribe then the business will make money and tend to invest more for other meetings. It was on offer at £29.99 for 12 months viewing of all Discovery+ programmes other than speedway. Normal rate is £59.99 for 12 months. There is a monthly fee too. Forget what it is but would mean the 7 month speedway GP season would be just under the 12 month fee or there abouts. If not enough pay for the service the likelihood is that they will withdraw and maybe no one takes their place. We all like something for nothing, but sometimes if we dont put anything in you get nothing out.
  6. So, there are those who grumble they don't get value for money when at a speedway meeting consisting of 15 races. A meeting comes along with juniors and veteran bikes and what happens.....still get the grumblers. I wonder if that is why promotors stick to 15 races plus tractor amusement? They cannot win
  7. What is the view among Polish fans, and the community in general, about banning Russian speedway riders, and sports people in general, from international sport over this war.???
  8. If an away team fights through the match and ends with a draw they should get points for a draw.
  9. That would mean speedway has morphed from a sport into a comedy show….. mind you I think it did that doubling on leagues and deciding the premier champion may not be the team that topped the league final standings.
  10. That race must rank as one of the best of all time. All four were in it till the finish.
  11. That ht 20 was amazing. Did I see Iversen come last? He was in the lead going on the back straight on the last lap. I want a GP round at BV
  12. Putin is dividing his own people. His thugs will sort those that don’t agree with him.
  13. Is it next year that the track opens up?
  14. I suggested that a few posts ago. He will need Chromecast device, or I suggested a Roku box, I bought a new shop return for £32 the other week, just a tatty box. New in shop circa £60.
  15. Yes it’s a bit of a pain, my three favourite sports are Speedway, MotoGP/2/3, and world superbikes. Would be nice if Sky had them all, or BT, or Discovery etc, sadly it doesn’t happen these days, everyone wants our money, and their is only so much to spread around. To Enotian, Discovery is very broad with its sports, it has been covering the Olympics much more then say BBC did. It’s covering snooker at world level (just showed the first major championship from Turkey which Trump won with amazing skill). Plus other sports I not interested in. But they also do BBC player, ITV, loads of educational channels, then there are loads of films (not that I am interested). You could, if you wanted watch Discovery rather than the 5 major channels. It is not just a few sports. So to get it at £29.99 on offer, of £59.99 for proper 12 month price could be considered good value especially when compared to the TV licence fee that we must pay.
  16. Don’t hold your breathe hoping the BT deal will be anytime soon, they talking about end of the year if it comes to fruition. The technology is no problem to the younger generation, so it wouldn’t put of the attraction to youngsters if they so inclined to be interested. Is the model number on the back of the telly.
  17. Like me you are on the old scheme, and because of %age increases the gap gets wider every year between the old and new scheme.
  18. Maybe ask the question on Google or ask on YouTube…… “How do I add an app on my Sony (model) tv”
  19. No, I just posted about it on another thread, so you should be able to follow that.
  20. What make tv is it? I got my Disc+ then found out it’s not compatible with LG television. You may have to add the app to your tv, don’t know anything about PS4. if you get the app you will be able to have a week trial but then it’s pay for. Other ways to get it, still have to pay for it though………. If you got a smart phone or tablet you can get Discovery+ app, it will play but a bit small so you can cast it to the tv with Chromecast device that plugs into HDMI on your tv. Chromecast device is about £35. Plus you still need to pay for Disc+. Or buy a Roku box. I got one off eBay “unused but open box” for £32 instead of about £60. You can get the Disc+ app on that, but still need to pay. If you decide on Roku I can tell you which Roku box to get. Having Roku box gives you access to loads of apps which you may, or may not, find good. Not seen any free way, sorry
  21. It is about £40 per week different. So when there is a 3.1% increase (instead of 8%) those on the lower pension get less a rise.
