Thing is today, there are so many bad things happening in the world, and it gets publicised so much, people tend to “put it to one side” it’s “become normal”. “It doesn’t matter”. All lives matter. There are 10’s of thousands killed in Ukraine, young men, older men, women, children…. nothing to do with Putins “special operation”. There are mothers in Russia, their young sons will probably never be returned even in a body bag because bodies of soldiers are just buried…..consumables to satisfy the desire of a nutter…….. it’s like Hitler all over again. And just like the 2nd world war…… the “world” knows atrocities are happening and doing nothing…until it’s all over then court cases will be held, maybe in 10 or 20 years perpetrator’s that are still alive will face a trial. It’s all too late

A Russian member of Parliament said that parliament was never consulted about these “special operations” in Ukraine. The soldiers did not know what they were going into, some reports they were told nothing, others they would be welcome with open arms and be home within a week. You cannot defend the blatant killing (murder) of ordinary citizens, shelling of hospitals, normal housing, the brutal rapes. Too late when the investigations into war crimes are produced.

Russian nor Belarus tennis players will not be at Wimbledon tennis this year. I have said it on here before, there is a strong link between Polish and Ukraine citizens, a lot stronger then you may think. And the hatred for Russia now is quite strong. Likely to continue until the population in Russia open their eyes and realise they have a one man government.

When I first started with Discovery+ in February and using a ROKU box sound and vision were not in sync. At that time I had ordered a new ROKU box for the lounge tv. When it came I put it onto the bedroom tv, the one with the out of sync, and everything was ok. So, the new box is permanently in the bedroom and working fine, while the older box is redundant (works ok with other apps on the older ROKU). So, how old is your ROKU box, it may be that causing out of sync, but I would do a online report to Discovery+ giving all the details, including the ROKU box version (assuming you have kept the box updated).

But Kelvin seemed to chirp up a bit as the program went on, but agree, it must have been difficult. I notice there is no mention of missing no1 and no3 in the world.

Another question..... What time does the program start tonight (afternooe) I see 4:30 stated, but is it 4_30 0r 5:30. I ask because practice was shown as 10:45 but actually started 1 hour later at 11:45

I got it on my TV, downloaded Discovery app to ROKU and watched it via ROKU on the TV Not very exciting I hope the racing tonight is more exciting, but I not holding my breathe. Thanks Racers and Royals, i managed to get a download of the race card and just filled in the names.

Re BT, I am in the same boat. BUT my other deep interest is the MotoGP’s and they are on BT. Come January it will be a tough decision, do I stay with BT or do I move and loose MotoGP. I can’t recall when that contract is up. You can get a month Discovery+ free trial, time it right and you will get the first 2 gp’s free, they are only 2 weeks apart.

All races on Discovery+ as I read it. If everyone looks for viewing for free Discovery+ plus may not get enough income to sustain any coverage, that could lead to no coverage at all….. then everyone will be moaning.

I can view last years Premiership final rounds, so maybe GPs will be available for later viewing. Govonthe Discover+ website and ask a question, straight from the horses mouth.

You can only be mislead if they said something that was not true or printed similar. You have not lost out because you were on SkyQ anyway, you didnt pay any extra for Discovery+ plus did you? Discovery+, even without sports, is not "basic". If you want to watch Speedway GP live, you know what you need to do. Like I said previously, we all like something for nothing, but sometimes we end up with nothing. Actually you got something something for nothing, access to Discovery+.

I was mouching around big Tesco yesterday, they had a number of TVs on sale. 32" and 40" from 195 to 220 pounds with 3 HDMI connections. Sharp, Technika, TCL. You will know Sharp brand, Technika is Tescos own, and TCL is a massive Chineese copany now in the UK and getting good reviews.

Speedway GPs will be shown live. It will have cost them fair bit of money to take it away from BT, so they need to recoup by showing live, not bits here and there on some channel. If people would actually subscribe then the business will make money and tend to invest more for other meetings. It was on offer at £29.99 for 12 months viewing of all Discovery+ programmes other than speedway. Normal rate is £59.99 for 12 months. There is a monthly fee too. Forget what it is but would mean the 7 month speedway GP season would be just under the 12 month fee or there abouts. If not enough pay for the service the likelihood is that they will withdraw and maybe no one takes their place. We all like something for nothing, but sometimes if we dont put anything in you get nothing out.

So, there are those who grumble they don't get value for money when at a speedway meeting consisting of 15 races. A meeting comes along with juniors and veteran bikes and what happens.....still get the grumblers. I wonder if that is why promotors stick to 15 races plus tractor amusement? They cannot win

What is the view among Polish fans, and the community in general, about banning Russian speedway riders, and sports people in general, from international sport over this war.???

So where on TV would better viewing figures for speedway be? and why?

If an away team fights through the match and ends with a draw they should get points for a draw.
