Really enjoyed the meeting in Prague last night once the track was raced on a few times. I have said IMO Chris Harris has had 2 seasons too long in the GP's, but last night he was in the best races of the meeting and deserved his third place. Well done to Jason, but Hancock at his age is just amazing.

Injured badly 12 months ago, not ridden (competitively) since, given a permanent wild card for the 2016 GP's, not taken his spot, come this Saturday will be the 4th time (more then 33%) GP that the series first reserve, Freddie Lindgren has replaced him.. Question 1 - is it fair on Hample to expect him to qualify in the top eight this year for next years GP series, given the fact after Saturday there are just 7 GP's left. Last year Peter Kildemand replaced Hample for the last 9 GP's, rode splendidly but still didn't qualify in the top 8. Question 2 - is it fair on Freddie Lindgren, that with 3 GP's completed this season he is in with a good chance to qualify by right for next years GP's, that should Hample be declared fit for the 5th GP (Cardiff) that Freddie should be back as first reserve. Personally, I would stand Hample down this year from the GP's, and offer him a wild card for 2017 GP series. Meawhile Freddie would carry on this years series and go for qualifying in the top 8 for next year. Whats your views??

Someone has to seriously look at what went wrong with the under 21 meeting at KL. For a meeting to start at 7:30 and finish at 11:40... phew. OK there was a serious looking accident and the ambulance was on the track for 10 or more minutes....and rightly so. Sure there were other accidents and the odd tape break, but generally speaking there was too much time between races. Back to the same old question.... why do they open the pit gates when there is a tape breal or false start? Craxy.... just move em on up to the start and get the show running again. 23 races in 260 minutes, thats just over 11 minutes per race..... wow.

Gavan, what's the point of being British champion and getting no reward for it, yet you don't support King to be in the team.... see your post #86

Yes I was replying to Norbold when he asked about Ron Johnston. I knew him as a New Zealander, and Wilipedia lists him as a New Zealander, born in Dundedin. Sadly passed away in 2014. Actually he didn't have too bad a record in the world finals 1955 12th, 1957 6th, 1958 8th and 1960 5th. He was good around Hyde Road, usually guaranteed a good race from him. Well known in the pit area for his flashy American cars, think I can remember a Studebaker.
