Hey Gavan, you didnt mention Hampel!!!
-
Well thers a lot of posts on here that are all looking forward to Bridger, are you happy with Bridger at Coventry ? I do think he is a exciting rider!
-
Nice to see the mass majority of Coventry supporters are behind Bridger. So nice to see and I think he will do fine for you, Bridger with Havelock under him I think this is what Bridger needs. Have a fab season and good luck.

Greg Hancock How Good.?
sommelier replied to stratton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hancock what an amazing career and still at the top of his game. I personally have never found him the most exciting rider, for me the most stylish rider was Olsen for a tall guy was so smooth and was breathtaking from the back in the 70's. -
Hi Philip well I believe Pedersen works so hard with his sponsors and his personal fitness and I applaud him for that. My all time favourite professional I would have to say was Mauger, took speedway to a new level.

Rip Lew Coffin
sommelier replied to brewer's topic in Grasstrack, Sidecar, Short Track and Cycle Speedway
Sad news indeed, I remeber Lew helping Sean Willmott in school boy grass track when Willmott was pre team. RIP -
Regarding Middleditche's comments on social media, he is old enough and should be wise enough to keep his thoughts to himself, he has done himself no favours. Mind Woffinden last year who was the current world champion at the time should never have made the comments he did on social media about Pedersen, I am a big Tai fan. Regarding Pedersen arguably is the most professional rider at present time.

Well Gavan regarding Ward's fitness I have no idea how hard he works at that, but he does do the Polish, the Swedish EL, the Gp's and the WTC. To my knowledge I have never heard Ward moan about being tired or taking too much on. Even Tai as fit as he is was doing the same amount of leagues as Ward yet Woffinden had to take time out last year as he had taken too much on. So there can't be much wrong with Ward's fitness. My only criticism of Ward's racing - he can over ride at times, at times I have seen him riding a league match like you would think it was a GP final. I think this is why he falls off so often, he reminds me a lot like Loram, IMO Loram wether it be a GP or a league match would always give you 200%, and that's why we all loved him.

I think you have a good looking team on paper, im shure Bridger will do fine
-
Will sort out my programme 10 points from 4 rides!
-
Yes i agree with you

Lakeside at Poole last year, was so looking forward to watch Mikkel Bech, but was Bridger on it that night. His times was like a second faster, Thought he was going on that showing to be British champ, went to Wolves, 1st in his firs ride & it was a good ride, then a second, then 3 last!!! Just cant put my finger on why he is so up & down!
-
Mate im not anti Middleditch, far from it. but do stick with what i say Ward would do beeter off away fom Poole. I have & will still do drive the end of the world to watch Ward race!

Spot on

Spouting rubbish ????
-
Yes why do you bother!!!!
-
Well being ENGLISH through & through, yes i will bang on about it as you put it!!!!!
-
Totally agree with you, i would never run down Ford as a promoter or Middleditch as a manager.
-
Yes I agree with you that Middleditch is a good manager, no getting away from that. But I do think Ward would benefit from getting away from Poole. Just my opinion.
-
Firstly I am not a Poole supporter but I do think Matt Ford is a wonderful promoter, he has turned Poole speedway around to a very successful club and he should be appaulded for that. But in my opinion I do not feel that Middlditch as good as a team manager he is is the right person to be around Ward. Is not the right person to be around Ward
-
Yes i know where you are coming from with Bridger at times he can look world class and other times well lets just say no so good but the talent is definitely there. Nick Morris is a strong one, I have been following him intensively from 2010 I though then he looked an amazing talent. But last year I was a little disappointed but was I expecting too much?
-
Yes I honestly feel that Bridger would thrive at Poole, I think Matt Ford would be the ideal person around Bridger. Having said that I do personaly wish Ward would find another club as I feel it would do both parties good!

Hi David Regarding your wanted programmes, I am a big collector of programmes, I suggest you go onto ebay and look for a seller called urkocollector who is always selling programmes on ebay, and send him a message for your want list. I find this guy most helpful. Kind regads Marcus

I agree with you, when Lewis has got his head sorted out, can look such class
