  1. Had a fab time, and would just like to say Lynn stadium just gets better and better each year
  2. Gavan, a quick message to you, can you tell me if Mike Lee gets to Ipswich meetings ?
  3. Loram the most talented rider you have ever seen ? hate to say it as im English through & through, yes i was a big Loram fan & was an amazing rider. Was at Exeter the night he got the track record, at Pfaffenhofen in 92 when he had the run off with Adams, what a race that was. He should thank David Norris for that!! But to say most talented, I think Gollob was in another league when it comes to talent. Gollob can do things on a bike that Ward cant even do YET!!!!
  4. Yes he is another rider that looked so promising. But for me Busk looked so stylish, i travelled out with Hans in 1977 wen Busk won U21 at Vojens, mind he did have Olsen in his camp
  5. Yes I know where you are coming from with young riders showing loads of promise at a young age and not progressing to the very top. Three riders come to my mind who I felt under achieved, and I am not knocking them these are Alf Busk, Kevin Jolly and Mel Taylor in my opinion I thought they would have gone further than they did.
  6. Thanks PP, im a big Lambert fan & hope you have a good season
  7. Can anyone tell me how Rob Lambert looked at press practise day
  8. So looking forward to this one, but not the 400 mile round trip!
  9. Sidney is just very passionate about his speedway & very knowledgeable
  10. I dont totally agree with you that Screen was better than Lambert AT 16. Ther is know bigger Screen fan than me, yes Screen was outstanding at 16 but i think Lambert is by far more polished at the same age
  11. I believe what Lambert achieved last year is quite remarkable. With him coming in to the main body of the team and ending up with over a five point average and claiming a paid maximum in his first year was outstanding. In my opinion apart from Mike Lee. Emil and possibly Ward I have not seen a better sixteen year old!
  12. Had a fab day at Swindon, Morris a worthy Winner. Highlite for me was meeting Joe Owen & having a long chat, such a genuine guy
  13. Hi Phil, im in Bristol, about 35 miles from Swindon. A bit overcast but dry!
  14. I think you will be very impressed with Lambert, looks like he has a very big future & he is British! But remember he is still only 16!
  15. I would bet a pound to a pinch of salt it would not be Ward but his lawyers, if they did take on the FIM, they would be the ones advising him.
  16. The only thing i find disappointing is that Rob Lambert is not in the team. Still looking forward to it, got my tickets come today!
  17. Some fab footage, thanks for the link
  18. No Finn Thomsen in your list!
  19. So surprised no one has mentioned Coatbridge yet ??
