  1. Scunthorpe must have the best track in the country, Somerset is very good but Scunthorpe take it to another level!
  2. Not always agree with you, but always respect your views. I think you make some valid points on this forum
  3. Totally agree mate, that kid as so much talent its unbelievable. And a comment regarding no racing brain is even more unbelievable!!!
  4. I'm popping up for this one, introduce yourself & ill get you a pint
  5. Don't hold your breathe mate! Are mate, you wait a minute, Debs is coming on the centre green in a mo to do a erotic strip!!!
  6. In all fairness the racing at Swindon is the absolute pants
  7. Agree mate, but save your money and get down the OTA and watch some proper racing!
  8. Yes Mark, we will have to get behind Lambert against the Swindon Aussies!!!
  9. Wait to the fat lady, or should I say star lady sings on Saturday!
  10. Yep, but YOU stated he had NEVER ridden there! Deary deary me I do question your knowledge! kind Regards
  11. Would you know if they are opening the restaurant for this one ?
  12. NEVER ridden the track, you are wrong AGAIN! did you not go to the PCM ? kind remember ALL riders practicing
  13. Many a rider has opt to miss practice for GPs! Thought you would understand that being a X rider ? Would you have practiced at Poole where you have stated, won many races! cant wait to find out who you are, I'm excited, bet iv must have seen you at Poole elbow to elbow with Darcy!
  14. You know what Robert72, I've had a little skid on a speedway bike, but hell I was bad, no i'll rephrase that, I was embarrassingly s**t but i'm not afraid to admit it. I started off in school boy grass track, then in 75 lied about my age to get a ACU licence as I was 15 at the time to do grass track on a new 500 Antig JAP. Then went to Wolverhampton training school in the Winter of 1975, had a lot of help off Chris Harrison, have done a few od meetings for Stoke, Edinburgh & a few no 7 & 8 rides for Wolves. But what really gived me the s***s was seeing Juniors around me that had such poor equipment where as I had the very very best, but one thing I lacked was absolutely no ability! But i'm happy to admit it. I've PM you asking if you was the rob I knew at Cradley in the late 60s early 70s, but you did not have the decency to reply!
  15. And I also unfortunately witnessed Craig Featherby fatal accident, but I tend to try & block any of those memories. Regarding DW, yes iv been very fortunate to be graced & at times dazzled by his brilliance, when he made his come back in 2015 I watched EVERY meeting he rode in this country & one in Sweden. Yes I remember him for his good side, riding a speedway bike like not many can!!!
  16. I remember Gary Peterson the night he had his tragic accident in 75 at Wolverhampton. But what the hell as DW43 got to do with it ????
  17. To be honest I'm struggling with 5 British riders killed on track ??
  18. Regarding BWD having watched him many times last year at Eastbourne home and away and seeing how he has progressed this year, is quiet remarkable. As far as being a fan of BWD no not really, now take Paul Starke and Charles Wright a huge fan. With the confrontation with BWD at the start line he was unhappy before the start so why not sort the problem out before under starters orders? had he have won the race do you think he would have had the confrontation? IMO it showed a tad of immaturity
  19. For some unknown reason the jumped up Kiwi starts having a go at the start marshall
  20. Totally agree with you about BWD regarding the start line confrontation, anyone would think he was Ivan Mauger!!
  21. Wright has big engine issues for the last couple of months, cant get to the route of the problem but no lack of trying
