  1. Regarding your comments on Brady, I agree, having watched Brady week in week out home and away for Somerset I for one was banging on about him just what a talent he was showing. But I honestly IMO he has gone backwards this year, if you ask me for a comparison to say Brady and Lambert at the being of 2016 I would have put Brady in front. Yep I know you are going to say that's because I'm a big Lambert fan! but I honestly feel that Lambert 2 years younger is at another level. I feel the big problem with Brady he can not ride technical tracks. Watching him at Edinburgh for Somerset and last year at Lakeside and Wolves was wow full.
  2. Yep and not so long ago he was in the corner of a Russian at the GP's, how patriotic is that!
  3. Totally agree with you Steve, well 99.9% of your post, British na ENGLISH!!
  4. At last I read a post that recognises the serious talent that Lambert is
  5. Bronze in the U21, um & who did he beat in run off!
  6. All the talk about Holder at NO1, me thinks Lambert could push him hard for the NO1 jacket if he carries improving like he has over the last 3 years. ENGLISH pride!
  7. Dan Bewley must be on every promoters want list
  8. Lambert is improving every year, the lad is only 18! IMO will finish on a higher average than Hans in 2017
  9. If you are thinking of sponsorship, would you not rather put it into a ENGLISH rider, say Lambert ?
  10. Need a Noddy, the look of this team I think it needs a Dudek!
  11. The first person that I can remember who first used a van was Kristian Praestbro when he was riding for Cradley Heath
  12. Give me a Pole over a Aussie any day!!
  13. True, I can get to Falubaz faster than I can get to the OTA on a Friday night!!!
  14. Totally agree with you regarding riders not hit the Rev limiter on UK tracks. I honestly believe that the vast majority of riders are pulling much to higher gearing & the engine is not revving enough! Stand on turn 4 at Swindon is a good example, you can clearly hear the engine dying in the corner. I go to a lot of GPs & always go to practice, the only rider whos engine is revving significantly MUCH higher is Nicki Pedersen
  15. Hans Nielsen would go from the start on barely tick over, on the other hand, Mark Loram would rev the engine to the heavens!
  16. Whether at the start line or on a stand, still free revving
  17. I believe more engine damage is done in the pits over revving engines on the stand than on the track!
  18. I know this topic is about what makes a good team managers, but last night at the Garry Stead evening and Halifax reunion, having a long chat with Garry I was horrified to hear of a very successful and current team manager, who I DID have the upmost respect for. I am finding it very hard not to name and shame the person I am referring to. It makes my blood boil, with the person in question who promised to donate items for Garry's auction but never did. and lets be honest Garry is the nicest guy you could wish to meet. I hope the manager in question reads this - shame on you!
  19. If you are looking for a programme, John Somerville might be able to help you out. You will need long arms & very deep pockets though!
