  1. You must have some stories from that Doc!
  2. Regarding Darcy, yes agree with you was an amazing talent, but I have always questioned how he coped under pressure. I've watched Darcy all over the UK & Europe & never for one minute questioned his ability, but his record in GP finals is not that great, so many times he would buckle in SF, When he came back from his ban for Swindon, yes I thought he was a better rider, yet when Swindon travelled to Poole, bumper crowd, did he handle the pressure, nope. Would he have over come this, we will never know. But for talent he was right up there. The only rider in my era who was more NATURALLY talented was Gollob, who IMO could do things on a bike like no other!
  3. Yep I hear what you say regarding Cook, but will jump to his defence that he is a totally different rider this year, far more relaxed on the bike. Was amazed at the BF when he missed the gate but no panic set in. Big call to make the GP, but I personally if he failed to qualify, a wild card would not be wasted on him!
  4. Would put money on it, you will not see him at Lynn next year
  5. He will ride where its most lucrative for him, this after all is his living
  6. Injured riders over the years have always picked & choose what meetings to ride in, I could fill page after page giving you examples!
  7. AND can you not see there aint to many Lamberts about, I couldn't give a flying fu+k about rules, just wish to see the best ENGLISH & yeh not British riders we have in the BF, Did you enjoy the meeting last night ? Wish I knew you were going, could have had a little meet up!!!!!
  8. Why, ill tell you why. Just take a look how his parents had to sacrifice so much time & effort & not to mention the tens of thousands they spent for him to pursue his career in Germany when OUR governing body didn't allow him to ride. Fair play to him staying LOYAL to White Tigers
  9. Would not be surprised one little bit if Lambert turns his back totally to ANY commitment in GB next year
  10. No way in this world on current form could you put Masters over Morris ?
  11. Agree Cook is red hot favourite but can be vulnerable at BV. No home track advantage whatsoever
  12. Only my 3rd visit to Leicester this year, but IMO much improved racing
  13. David Steen, remember watching him, that's a blast from the past. whatever happened to him ? Looked ok from what I remember
  14. NEVER missed a BF from the day dot! NO Lambert NO Bridger, I'm off to Cradley Kent!
  15. After Berwick my next trip to Ipswich, Newcastle, Lambert! hope to catch you then. Not sure about the Lucozade! lol
  16. Off topic, hey come on, you must go v Berwick, Bridger! Was going to PM you to say ill get you a pint
  17. Well I tell you what, at Leicester last Saturday in all the years I've been following speedway, I have NEVER seen Poole supporters in such low numbers. If I'm honest, I cant ever recall seeing you at any away meetings
