  1. Yes & so it seems Hawks 1975 was spot on in his assessment of what happened.
  2. Mulford is riding in a world long track qualifier in Czech, takes priority over CL or u19s.
  3. Yup. He loves his speedway and the attention he gets! He certainly didn’t like your mascot though.
  4. He’s only a little puppy at the moment, when I bring him back next year he will be fully grown and looking out for your mascot.
  5. It seems forgotten that kent were without Mulford at no 7 who would have been more than capable of taking points off Edinburgh reserves and Lawson.
  6. It must be Scott it has his name on his goggles.
  7. So Conner Cole’s has been banned from being reserve for the British final by the bspl because he rode at the iow, how pathetic is that! !
  8. Kent have to replace Hurry & Bacon. Hurry is on 5.72 & Bacon 5.14, plus the points to play with. So Troy on 11.10 would leave a bit for a reserve rider. Cant see it being Troy though.
  9. If we have to get in another reserve I would sooner have Jason Edwards, now he has been sacked by Eastbourne, rather than JPB.
  10. Steve has a good point about the crowd being quiet. This has never been the case in the past but this season for some reason riders are going straight back to the pits rather than back past the stand, it leaves the supporters extremely frustrated that they cannot show their appreciation of the racing & it leaves to (as Steve said) tepid hand clapping.
  11. Have to agree with you. He puts an amazing amount effort & commitment in to his racing & it would be good to see him get the points he deserves.
  12. Troy is a British citizen so does not require any visas.
  13. What would Batchelors champ average be? He has a 8.33 Prem average, if converted on 1.5 it would put him on the maximum 12 points. No chance of any team fitting him in on that.
  14. Scott has not put his tv career ahead of his speedway one, he is riding champ & prem leagues same as he has done for years. All he has done is change clubs to accommodate his other job as a tv pundit. Anyway, why on earth would Leicester think Kent would choose to go to a track without their No 1 rider & track specialist!?
  15. That is not correct, he was on the pace and challenging 3/4th in all his races but didn't lead a race.
  16. Not completely dreadful, both Starke & Heeps came from behind in heat 15 to beat the KL No 1.
  17. Not sure when the averages change again but if Hurry has done enough matches to have a revised average I'm sure we will fit Auty in easily. (If he will still be available)
  18. I think Kent have 7.22 to play with, Bacon 5.28 & 1.94 under the limit. Shame Auty is on 7.48!
  19. How good would it be if there was a fully functional speedway track available with a promoter willing to put on regular meetings for the NL riders, rising stars etc to practice against each other & improve their skills. Sure the BSPL would be massively in favour of that seeing as there are so few meetings in the NL.
  20. It would be worth keeping a keen eye on the Kings web site for the release of tickets for June 8th, a lot of tickets would have already been sold for the rain off against Leicester/Eastbourne & carried over to the Glasgow match.
  21. Henry Atkins. 5.86 Nathan Ablitt. 3.00 Dan Thompson. 5.50 Harry Mcgurk. 3.00 Rob Ledwith. 5.93 Dan Gilkes. 8.00 George Rothery. 3.00 34.29
  22. News on tickets & stadium attendance allowed etc is due any day now. The stadium was built with a capacity around 6000 but bends 3 & 4 are not able to be used. The main stand has around 2000 seats. When speedway starts in May only the main stand & bends 1 & 2 will be used, but how many spectators the local council will allow in is anybody guess at the moment.
