  1. I believe he still holds the track record at Mildenhall. He scored 17 points from 6 rides last week at IOW. The opposition included Morley, Trigger, Kingston, Congrieve, Butcher etc none of them slouches, he also got the Fastest time of the night. Not bad for someone who hasn't been on a bike for years. There is no doubt he has huge natural talent but will anyone take a chance on him!
  2. Have to agree, Jenkins as well as being the current NL Champ is the form rider in the NL at the moment. My point was Thompson is nowhere near the best rider in the NL. Clegg by the way has a NL average of 11.83.
  3. And Max clegg, over 2 points better average! And Bowtell, And Bailey.
  4. The SCB have revoked Kent Royals license and imposed a fine on Kent NL speedway. The revoking of the license is suspended. This apparently is for allowing the recent Nora league amateur meeting to be held at Iwade! Even though it has nothing to do with Kent speedway. How ridiculous is the SCB getting.
  5. It’s not about disallowing him it’s about him being given the average he got after riding 4 matches
  6. 1. J Thompson 9.11 Leicester 2. A Roynon 6.00 Edinburgh 3. N Ablitt 7.20 Kent 4. J Alcock 4.36 Kent 5. C Bailey 8.86 Workington 6. L Kileen 3.00 Oxford 7. L Harrison 3.00 Workington Team total 41.53
  7. Just done the exact same thing & couldn't pick Kent! So I had a toss up between B Vue (best race track) or Ipswich ( Just signed Emil)
  8. Is James Shanes not looking for a NL team place. Heat leader ( 8.66 ) for Mildy last season.
  9. That Kent side has a much more balanced look about it. Pleased to see Ablitt back again, after a years experience in the Championship I think he will be pushing Ben for the no 1spot.
  10. Have to agree with you hawks. Morley, King & Alcock must be nailed on. I would add Ben Trigger to the wanted list & I would also like to see Ablitt back at Kent if Si can see past his non arrival at Edinburgh.
  11. How do you propose to make the league weekend/bank holiday when half the tracks race week days?
  12. R/R for Jenkins at Mildenhall today has put paid to Oxfords chance to make the play offs.
  13. Would have thought Max Clegg would have been riding for Kent, Leicester is his home track.
  14. You must have had different guests in mind other than the ones Kent have chosen, out of interest who would they have been?
