Old Crusader

In the clubs defence this is not the team we started with. Due to injuries we are missing Benji Compton who in last week's speedway star is top of our averages and we don't know what Fremantle can do apart from fly over fences. Now we have completed the requisite number of matches for the averages we hope that the management will take action and change the team if only temporarily. I see also in the Star that Luke Priest is looking for a team. Don't know much about him or if he would be suitable.

What a dissapointng display from Kent after yesterday. Seems the heads went down and they gave up.

Any changes to our team at Cradley? Will Mr Baseby be riding for us?

What a great meeting. Had serious doubts that we would see it through but thanks to the riders and track staff etc we got all 15 heats. The team riding courtesy of David Mason was edge of your seat stuff and fantastic. Just shows you don't have to be the fastest but crafty. A few spills, hope poor Jack is ok. Can't fault him for effort but is chasing back wheels at the moment. The track looked a lot better than last year and riders could use the outside on the bends. Good to see the interest from everybody on this forum. Not sure how big the crowd was but thought it quite decent considering the weather and AJ is King looked vey smart in his Kent Kings jacket.

I also follow fb & twitter but there's not much activity on there either! Where's AJ is King,Gustix,Parsoles,Whistle gang etc? Have they lost interest for some reason? What about the weather today, will the meeting be on?

Very sorry to hear this. I met him for the first time at Iwade a couple of years ago.So down to earth, but to me he was a speedway hero who I saw on the telly when I was young.

Where are all the Kent Kings supporters? We used to be at the top of this forum last year what's happened? Why the lack of conversation? Have I missed something? So what if the management won't comment here, can't we talk to each other?

OK the clubs not perfect. However at least I have a local speedway team now. The last one closed in 1987 and that's a long time ago.

My sentiments exactly.Tried to post the same yesterday but as a newbie to the forum there seemed to be a hitch. This is the first time this season that I will get an opportunity to visit Central Park. Looking forward to seeing the track improvements. Is it banked a little towards the fence now? Fingers crossed on the weather!

Who else is looking forward to this match? Will be my 1st opportunity to get to the stadium this season.Will be good to see Steve & Luke do battle.
