Do we know who will be riding for Kent this evening with Nathan out? Is Rob ok as well?
-
Sorry I thought Dan was committed and signed for Kent at the begining of the season and is not therefore unattached!

Kent touch Tec Kings vs Wightlink Warriors

Is there a doubt on Widma Is there a doubt about Widman riding tonight then? -
I also cannot understand Ledwith at 5. I thought it was just being tried for the challenge against Lakeside. He's not a heat leader yet. As you and others have said with the full team it would have been a much bigger win.

When you have only 2 hours to complete the meeting every minute counts and you need to keep on top of this from the start to the finish. Yesterday the riders had been introduced and paraded and the first race could have started bang on 4pm. Instead someone sent out 3 juniors to trundle around the track waisting valuable racing time. Keep this for during the interval of after the meeting if you find you have the time, it's just a little bonus If you can afford to include it.

Absolutely spot on

Well after yesterday he won't be getting my little help as often. If you're going to charge top dollar you need to at least give the customer all 15 heats!
-
Sorry to hear that about Luke. Was not aware of the rules. Is that new for next season?
-
Hello is there anybody out there? Whistle gang / teaboy???? Blueherb ???
-
Don't think Hurry will be riding this year. Has Luke Bowen retired as well not heard anything?
-
Yes, apparently speedway is noisier on a Saturday than a Monday. The noise issue was overcome years ago so don't see the relevance. It's not a school night either. Lets hope Len has a good plan B to hit back with.
-
What's the answer to that in your opinion blue herb?

I bow to your superior knowledge of these things but do this still go on in this day and age? I thought nitro was rejected back in the 70s?

Tip the balance is an understatement, they'll be no comparison if Spiller is at reserve! -

Kent V Coventry Storm Mon 6th July
Old Crusader replied to mdmc82's topic in National League Speedway
No real change at Kent yet and like others have lost interest. To slow to react plus lame excuses. Is there a plan, not sure. Bit like Canterbury in the 80's and we know what happened there! -
I remember reading that the Kings wanted local KENT riders in their team. There are two Kent based grasstrack riders who are on Eastbournes books. Charley Powell scored 8+1 in his first Nat Lge meeting guesting for Birmingham last night. How come we got the dud riders from Kent?
-
You're quite correct Gustix I meant for, it was a typo.
-
What do you base that on, after two weeks we still don't know who our reserves are! We have a good top end but are let down by our reserves. This is not the case or Eastbourne!
-
Who's in the Kings team for this one? We will need to be on top form! Should be some good racing and a bonus if we could scrape a win for once, it's been a while now! I'm even tempted to get time off work to be there, but I don't want to be driving home pi###d off after a thrashing!

On well back to the drawing board. Best leave it to the professional managers
-
Yes, we are not too sure about him. When Adam was dropped we thought Jack was his replacement but it was never confirmed. Then he wrenched his knee and wasn't available for the next meeting. So it could be Jack signing on officially. We could really do with another as well though to turn things around. Danno at reserve is scoring no better than he was when at No.2.
-
I see that Adam is stepping down for a few weeks. The Kings are looking to make a new signing at reserve. Any chance it could be Benji Compton that would be brilliant. His Premier League average is low, what would it multiply by for National League and would he be interested? It could boost his confidence for Somerset. Is he still riding?
-
Waiting to see who's riding for the Kings tonight. I read that Chris Hunt is leaving it late to decide on the lower order riders. Plus will men and machines be up to scratch after the fours fiasco yesterday? Well done lads such a shame you didn't have a decent track to race on.

After we have won the NL Fours what is our chance of winning at home? Will Jack be riding and is he ok after his off against Cradley?
