Slightly underwhelmed by both Rose and Proctor. Not sure how much improvement they have in them. Not sure Rose will ever be more than a number 2 at best. Proctor is a big gamble.

K.Bjerre 8.48 L.Kerr 5.06 D.King 6.66 T.Jorgensen 5.93 R.Lambert 7.38 J.Auty 4.68 T.Aarnio ??? Not convinced with the reserves, but my best prediction so far. Hoping we don't have to wait until next year for the next rider announcement !!

Anyone know what average Kacper Gomolski would come in on? He was supposed to be part of the changes last year before Buster forgot the rule about needing 2 Brits in the team.
-
Here lies the problem. Ipswich and one other team by the sounds of it are more interested in their own team than the sport as a whole. Thursday's should have been the only option if the sport wanted to progress. Interesting to read in the SS that Rossiter believes it should have been Thursday's and that it's likely to change in 2019.

I don't see the point of forcing teams to have only one rider with an average of over 8!! There were 7 riders in the premiership last season who finished with an average above 8. Assuming Vaculik will come in on a plus 8 average that means those riders will fill the top spot in all of the current teams. So much for attracting quality riders to come back to the league... there's no room for them! I thought we needed more riders in Britain yet we are making things more difficult for absolutely no reason. If you have a team points limit, let teams build their team how they want!

I'm pretty sure he said that this time last year as well.

Another complete embarrassment for Kings Lynn and the sport. I have absolutely no respect left for Buster whatsoever! -
King's Lynn V Somerset 7/8/17(£10 Adults)

Yes definitely both championship standard teams, but to me they look very similar in strength. Let's hope the result is a close exciting meeting. And the Stars winning of course! -

Tonight's call off is acceptable and a good call in my opinion unlike some of the other cancellations of late. Interesting to see the statement saying that it's because of the riders that he's not prepared for meeting to go ahead. Not sure if this comment is going to help the already strained relationship with the riders. Slightly unprofessional! -

This call off doesn't surprise me at all. Buster know's hardly anyone would have turned up anyway. However calling off a meeting on a lovely summers evening (5% chance of rain according to BBC & Met office) is hardly going to keep true fans happy who just want to watch speedway bikes race!! What concerns me most is just how much Buster is out of touch with the fans. Drastic changes are needed in the running of the club, if not I fear the worst!!! It's also obvious if you follow twitter that the relationship between the club and a number of riders is strained. I'm trying to think about positives, but at the moment I can't think of any! -
jchapman you've obviously got a far better insight than most of us with regard to Rose's work ethic and attitude etc, but for me he's not in the same league as Lambert when it comes to what he can do on a bike. The one and only area I believe Rose to be better is gating. I like Rose, and he's done very well at Lynn and shown good improvement but his point scoring depends very much on him getting to the first bend first!! As much as I'd like to see Rose progress further i can't ever see him being heat leader quality! If and it's a big IF, Robert can improve and work on his gating I believe within a few years he'll be amongst the best riders in the world.

Kings Lynn Stars V Belle Vue Aces 21/06/17

This one really could go either way. I'll let my heart rule my head and predict 46-44 to the stars!! -
Must confess, not seen a great deal of Jorgensen. Based on the British Final so far, Ben Barker would have been a good option. Goes well on small tracks too! Let's hope Jorgensen turns out to be a good signing. Looking forward to seeing him on Wednesday!
-
So Thomas Jorgensen replaces Porsing!!
-
With the averages allegedly being sorted on Monday, what are the chances of having a replacement or two in place for Wednesday? No chance is my guess!! But operating R/R for Porsing may well be beneficial if Huckenbeck keeps up his good form!
-
Let's hope he's ok, otherwise it's back to the drawing board. Will be a major blow!!

If Buster is so worried about health and safety, he should think about the amount of stones there are in the material he uses on the track. I was hit in the chest last week sitting at least 5 rows back in the Royal box by a stone the size a a 50 pence piece. Had it hit a young child in the face or eye I hate to think what damage it would cause. -

I'm sure stevehone is as hacked off as everyone else, he's just trying to give a possible justification. He doesn't suggest that he agrees with it! -

Based on how he's performed he'd have been better off using the one that's been stolen!! -

Kings lynn must have it's own eco-climate. I've been across the county today and not come across anything that would cancel a meeting. Admittedly not been within 5 miles of Lynn so perhaps the area is experiencing a hurricane that we don't know about!! Both met office and BBC weather forecast gusts no stronger than 24 miles an hour this evening. Probably got more to do with averages, Robert Lambert suffering a fever or Porsing not having a bike to ride. -

A full day of drying wind, some sunshine on no threat of rain and the 'world's best track curator can't get the meeting on!!! And they wonder why the sport is struggling. or am I being unfair?? -

Surely Allit is partly responsible for putting this team together and motivating them so he has to take some blame, although the riders have a lot to answer for. (Lambert aside) -

Kickitov replied to Beowulf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The structure of Kings Lynn's team looks awful. Also can't believe our team manager put out a statement before the meeting saying that we've already surpassed his expectations from 2 away meetings!(Somerset & Wolves) Such a negative attitude. We have a manager who should never had got the job in the first place, a big hitting No.1 who hasn't yet turned up. 2 second strings who are ok at best at home but woeful away and a number 7 who might as well not be there. (Feel sorry for Bailey). Let the new averages come out and make some changes!!! -
