  1. Nikki had a mare of a meeting, but I think the ref made the right decisions, & he'll still be the world champion. Crump = mardy arse. Congratulations to Hans.
  2. It's called team tactics. The Danish riders chat to each other constantly geeing each other up in the pits, while the team manager keeps them informed on the match progress. Team GB on the other hand sit in the pits moaning that they can't get their bikes "dialled in", or the track's too slick, while their team manager stands on the terraces with the crowd, & occasionally puts his head in his hand when the cameras are on him.
  3. Even I don't agree with half my dodgy jokes. We'll just have to agree to not send each other a Christmas card this year. Lifts dress up & swans off......
  4. Are you sure it wasn't just a big sad Swindon fan wearing a Robins cap shouting "Nicki Pedersen, you are scum"?
  5. & you are the British speedway forum twit of the year.
  6. Yeh yeh yeh, nicki is a disgrace & team GB are the real world champions because they are........err......team GB. Denmark are the world cup champions because they are the best team...fact.....they have fatastic team spirit...fact...you are a prat....fact. Message to mods..ban me if want I don't give a rats. I just get completely ** off with the blinkered anti Nicki Pedersen crap churned out in here. No doubt it was his fault it rained tonight. He's the world individual champion & the world team cup champion, get over it. Night night.
  7. Interesting to hear some of the comments from the English lads last night: Scott Nicholls: "I swapped bikes for my last two rides." Chris Harris: "I've been having a few bike problems." Lee Richardson: "The bikes haven't been performing how I'd like them to." Simon Stead: "Wow, did you see that full lock I pulled?"
  8. Good to meet you mate, glad you enjoyed your time in Blighty. Thanks for sharing a taxi with us.
  9. The best Queen appreciation concert I've ever been to. Land of hope & glory, great...........once. Queen.... total overkill all night including the karioke singer in the interval & the firework display. Chumbawumba everytime there was an accident was totally annoying (especially when riders weren't gettting knocked down & getting up again). Family fortunes sound effect everytime the red light came on.........nuff said. Ride on time before every bleedin' heat.........nuff said. & as for the schoolboy nudge nudge wink wink song directed at Nikki P.........I wouldn't allow you anywhere near a public address system again. I presume you are the same guy that had Kevin Bloody Wilson complete with F words blaring out at Coventry the other week.....grow up. Other than that, a first class effort.
  10. I couldn't agree more DD...& that's all I'm saying on the subject.
  11. No probs mate. As soon as I get back from Canada it's Johno's testimonial (yes, I'll be making a rare appearence at Brandon.....don't tell Gemini), then the following week it's Cardiff. I really must find some time to cut the bloody lawn.
  12. Thanks Sandie. I've no idea what St David's is like, but I've got a good mate in Wales & he picks the tab up every year for the whole Grand Prix weekend, tickets, hotel the lot.....& he doesn't even like speedway.
  13. Is that where you're staying Shazzy? It would be great to see you again.
  14. Anyone else staying at St David's hotel at the bay?
  15. The only thing that needs banning is Ole bloody Olsen from touching the tracks.
  16. "Pedersen clearly ran into Crump". - Sam Ermolenko yet again talking bollox. Please please can Sky get rid of this complete & utter tosser.
  17. I was given the 6 dvd box set for Christmas after deciding not to buy it myself as I thought it wouldn't be much cop being so cheap. Well I was wrong. Up until now each Grand Prix DVD has been selling for £20 - £25 (which is why I didn't buy them), but the 6 DVD set was brilliant & well worth £20. I'll certainly be ordering a copy of the Cardiff GP (even with the threat of Nigel Pearson commentating), & well done to the people responsible for selling quality DVD's at sensible prices. Any chance of a free copy for being so nice?
  18. Flippin 'eck Shazzy, why didn't you say hello? I didn't see you.
  19. First of all congratulations to Chris "Bomber" Harris, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Commmiserations to Nikki P, Hans & all the other riders who crashed, unlike some tossers near me I didn't cheer when they went headfirst into the fence. It's a pity some people can't think of anything origional to post on the forum, & yes, the banner saying "taxi for Mr Pedersen" did make me laugh.
  20. I was lurking in the POW, but stayed downstairs. Nice to meet up with Nevs, London Witch & False Dawn again. Saw a couple of other forumers but didn't have the nerve to say hello.
  21. from the speedway museum & it's looking good. I'd like to thank Linda & George Barclay who made us feel very welcome & let us have a good look round all the memorabilia. Can I ask that as many of you as possible visit the museum when it opens, because Paradise Park is a fantastic place & you will have a full & very enjoyable day out ( & if it's on a Saturday you can call in at Rye House which is just down the road) before you go home. Once again thank you to everyone for your hospitality, I know all your hard work will be worth it. Lt.
  22. Sorry I posted the following in the general speedway section before I realised there was a speedway museum section. Thought you might be interested to know I'm delivering my collection of race jackets to the speedway museum on Saturday. I hope you all get the chance to see them, & support this fantastic & much needed museum. Lt
