  1. Blimey Jim, you've just put me off me breakfast.
  2. Funnily enough, I was talking to Quasimodo about this the other day, & he also had a hunch. Ahh Quasimodo.......that name rings a bell.
  3. Well at least you had the courtesy to reply Bob, even if it was bl**ox. Thank you for that.
  4. Still very quite down Poo way, so next time you feel like slagging off any other rider for 20 odd pages, complete with silly drawings & moans about wrong camera angles etc. just remember two little words....Antonio & Lindback. I rest my case.
  5. Ah well, that's the finish to the most boring world championship ever. Who really gives a toss what happens from now on? Roll on 2006, let's hope it's a bloody site more exciting than this years yawnfest.
  6. "& there's Phil Crump looking excited"! Looking excited? Looked to me like he'd just licked a dog turd.
  7. Find it hard to disagree with Dame Edna Havelock. He made a very good point when he said, & I quote: " MmmmmmmmmumblemumblemumblePedersencumumblemumble". Nice one Gary. ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  8. Oh wait don't tell me, the camera was at the wrong angle again............................Yeh right.
  9. I trust all the Poo fans who wasted 20 odd pages slagging Nicki off will now do the same over Antonio Pedersen?.............................Nah, didn't think so.
  10. My prediction: 1st: Nicki Pedersen 2nd: Who cares? second place is for losers
  11. I don't think "the old buffer" as you so disrespectfully refer to him as owes anyone any respect as far as speedway goes. Ivan was, & still is a legend in the sport & was also a household name during his glittering career. Comparing Tony to Ivan is the same as trying to compare Peter Craven to Bluey Wilkinson, or Peter Collins to Jack Parker. Different riders, different machines, different tracks etc. They are/were all brilliant riders in their own time.
  12. Well done dd. It wasn't the tosspot referee that was to blame after all, or the fact he rode like a big girl in his last ride, it was the orange wheels.
  13. It's a bit like baking a cake. You chuck in the ingredients & give 'em a quick stir, then you stand back & watch it rise.
  14. Page 25: Well I'm sorry but I can't agree with you. If you saw it from the same angle as I did then you would have no doubts whatsoever that Hancock deleberately took Nicki into the fence. However, as this thread has now run to 25 pages & we are never going to agree, maybe it's time the mods locked it.
  15. Welcome back Bernie, hope the head isn't pounding too much this morning.
  16. I don't think it's just a matter of TRick "dialling" (whatever that means) his bikes in to each track, I think the fact he's running away with it this year is a lot to do with confidence. It dosen't matter who Sky interview, most of the riders don't come across as being 100% focussed, & they certainly don't seem to have the killer instinct or Rickardsson. I think Nicki P is the only other rider who does have the killer instinct & because he tries a bit too hard & gets into a few scrapes he gets slated for it, but you have to give him full marks for effort. I think the other reason Rickardsson is running away with it this year is because he's got supreme confidence in both his bikes & his ability. I think 99% of his opponents are beaten before the tapes have risen (assuming they do rise that is). Good luck to him, he's a fantastic rider & worthy champion, but it has made this years GP series predictable & boring. Apologies for rambling, I only got up for a quick slash.
  17. Steve, please don't think my post is sour grapes. I honestly think TRick is the best rider by far, but I'm a massivespeedway fan & even though tonight produced some fantastic racing I've now totally lost interest in this years world championship because it's all done & dusted at the halfway stage. I love speedway & I've been looking forward to tonights meeting all day, but I've lost interest now & really can't be bothered if I watch the rest of the GP's or not.
  18. Good racing tonight, but does anyone else agree that this years GP series is the most boring yet. From now on it's a formality & we already know who the winner of this years world championship is......yaaaawwwwnnnnn.
  19. What a fantastic GP, I've just took the dog out for a walk, called in on my mum, nipped to the local for a couple of pints, mowed the lawn, read the latest Nuts magazine, cracked one out, nipped to the Chinky takeaway, & I haven't missed one single race.
  20. I've just been on the phone to the RSPCA after witnessing the appalling shot of the referee kicking his guide dog.
  21. YYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! See what I mean? The Sky team can't even recognise when Nicki P wins fair & square. Biased or what?
