  1. It will not be a good idea to take this meeting as a formality (remember Berwick)??? Already without Heeps and now without Neilsen makes us weaker than we should be. And Tungate is an enigma, which rider turns up? Covetti has been an outstanding signing and King can always be relied on but to always expect these 2 riders to win meetings for us is bound to come unstuck one day. Hawkins is also a rider we cannot rely on as his form is so up and down. And finally Manzares is a pale shadow of the rider a year ago due to injuries sapping his confidence away. What kind of track will we be seeing? Never know these days. The football tonight should make little difference to who attends I find there are few fans around of both.
  2. Well lets hope we have a meeting what ever happened to Louis promise of more meetings nearly every week if we went premier league??? There seems no difference and in between the last home meeting and this Thursdays the Witches have done awful, so expect that will reflect on the attendance. We are so inconsistent its unbelievable and our chances of even finishing in the top 6 have taken a hammering. Will Adam Ellis be fit for Thursday otherwise be another no scorer at reserve. Us fans need a big lift so lets hope we put one over Len Silvers Rockets.
  3. Weather ok at mo so lets hope it stays that way. Somerset with Morley in place of Aspregen {hope that's spelt right} will make them much weaker, so lets hope we take advantage of that and build up a reasonable lead. See there's a change of order been made by Chris with Cameron moving to 2 and Gino to 4 lets hope that improves Cams scoring but not at the detriment of Gino's scoring. Good luck to all the lads and lets hope for an exciting meeting.
  4. Great win by the Witches and mainly due to Hawkins especially winning heat 14. But the continual worry is Heeps and Ellis (hope the lad is not to hurt) if these 2 do not sort themselves out its going to cost us any chances of really doing well. Suppose its all down to confidence but surely with all his experience Chris Louis can help in this department.
  5. Lets hope it stays fine and Bob constructs a grippy track for great racing so it proves to be the best meeting of the season. Think the Witches will have to have all 7 on the ball otherwise we will end up with no points at all in my opinion. So good luck lads all the best.
  6. Think this will be a home win making it 12 in a row, must say that's a magnificent achievement and just goes to show how a team can be put together to win the league. But never say never it was a good all round team performance last night and a repeat of that will push Edinburgh hard.
  7. Good win last night brilliant to see Cameron back to form and more like his old self.
  8. Be another hard meeting tonight even if Peterborough are without Ostergaard because they have the riders to cover for him. Nice to have a full team again after it seems forever and Adam at reserve again could be the main factor although not sure what we will get from him. Hopefully Bob will prepare a good track that's got grip all around that will make passing a possibility. My prediction is for a close meeting and a lot will depend on Worrell at one, if he ride as he has done for us so far we can only expect 8 or 9 from him which is not good enough for a number one.
