  1. Do anyone know if Connor Mountain has become a Witches asset?
  2. That will be fine for Rory but will it be best for the Witches team on the whole and obviously us fans who pay everyones wages? Personally I think not as where will Cameron ride? It will mean almost certainly he will ride at 3 or 4 with Kyle and wouldn't want to see that. Why don't we all put our personal preference for riding order. Mine is - 1. King 2. Heeps 3. Schlien 4. Newman 5. Covatti 6. Mountain 7. Hume
  3. Think he will do fine, he was injury plagued last season but if staying clear of those will expect him to reach an 8 - 8.5 average. A 9 average is far to optimistic.
  4. All this track changing over the last 7 years, I ask is it really necessary? Tell me what was wrong from 1969 - 2010 a time of 41 years mostly under John Berry with fantastic teams in the Top League. The racing was very exciting with the likes of Cookie, Siggy, John Louis and Tony Rickardsson coming from behind with no trouble at all on numerous occasions. If we only had top class riders in the now Premier League the racing would still be very exciting. Its the quality of riders that make it boring not the track.
  5. Well Baldy some old fruit are very tasty and sweet old chap. Sheffield look strong but that will hinge as you say on their away form, the Witches have nobody to fear its up to them to prove it.
  6. Think Blupanther put you right on this one, yet another senior moment old chap.
  7. Who pulled your chain ??? Never realised our conversation was anything to do with you!!! Negativity??? crap, I think the Witches team next season is the best since we went premier or whatever it is now.
  8. Please read my post again manse!!! Where did I say Ipswich were going to win at Glasgow??? Stop making up posts to suit yourself and stay to the facts. Just noticed Redcar have put a decent side together with Ben Barker as a no2, good luck to him esp when he was not offered another spot at Ipswich.
  9. If I did I know what part of your anatomy I would stick them. I dont care where you come from and dont care. The part where you (think lol) Glasgow is going to win at the ever improving Foxhall stadium make me LMFAO !!! Tell me one team in the league that would not have signed Rory Schlien on a 7.17 average ???
  10. Total numpty from that very cold area thats dulled his brain if he has any. Lets face it you are very jealous of the team the Witches have put together that will win at your hole.
  11. More sad times in speedway certainly if Coventry never ride again. Good luck guys on having a team to support in 2017.
  12. If thats the actual team which must be the worst kept secret of all time, then this is my opinion of the riders signed on. 1 KING well he was obvious as our no1 and who could moan about him. 2. HEEPS Runs out of steam every season and seems to wish he was at home in Oz would have preferred WILSON-DEAN. 3. SCHLIEN good signing and should strengthen the side as long as he stays clear of continuous injuries. 4. NEWMAN needs to overcome his poor form at Foxhall and in the Premier League and ride like he does for Poole. Would have preferred PORCING. 5. COVATTI pretty obvious he would sign again but hope he gets that 2015 form back. 6. MOUNTAIN not for me and would have gone for SHANES. 7. HUME top notch a future heat leader me thinks. All in all not a bad side but for me does not have that umph! thats needed to win leagues.
  13. Spot on with your assessments of Mortens season he let us down in the most critical meetings and obviously lacks bottle when its needed. Personally hope he never rides for Wiches again. Wilson Dean would be a far better choice than Heeps in our very important position of No 2, he is on the up at a steady pace. But knowing CL he will plump for the easy Heeps option.
  14. He loses interest every season after about 3 months and seems to wish he was back home.
  15. Interesting all this guessing on the eventual Witches team which CL always tries to keep secret until the whole team is announced. Can never understand this as several riders like King, Covatti, Hume and Mountain are obvious if Mountain is fit, if not Shanes or Ayres would be a good bet at reserve. Personally I would be happy with Newman at 4 and Schlien at 3 but who at 2? I believe its around 5.5 left and wouldnt want to see Heeps fill that void, Dean Wilson would be a much better bet he is on the up not like Heeps who is stagnant.
  16. Yes Danny Ayres at foxhall on 3.7 sounds good to me, he is an inspirational kind of guy and the fans love him. Reserve sounds best might be too difficult at 2.
  17. No Gino I think is good news think he would take months to come up to speed if at all. Chris Harris has just joined Rye House with his "mate" Scott lol
  18. Cant see Glasgow offering "silly money" to ride in the premier league or is it championship or Div 2? Now if in the Elite league or whatever its called, it would be an advantage to spend money like water like Poole do. Remember the premier is full of hasbeens who mostly were nevers.
  19. 1.king 2.wilson-dean 3.nico 4.porcing 5.schlien 6.mountain 7.hume I would settle for a team like this full of possible improvement from most. I spoke to Rohan and theres no chance he will return to Ipswich under CL.
  20. 36 League matches how will these be made up of then? 40 point average will not make a huge difference. Do anyone know who will be competing in our league whatever its name is? King and Hume are a must next season so cl get them signed pronto.
  21. What good news it is that risager is not coming over next season that gives cl the chance to potentially put a good team together lets hope he does. Personally I would only keep King, Sarg, Hume and perhaps Barker. Schlien and Porsing sound very inviting along with Ritchie Worrell so two of these riders would appeal to me. Hume and Mountain at reserve sounds a bit dodgy to me so perhaps Hume needs a stronger partner.
  22. Well I dont worry if Edinburgh fans are optimistic or not as the facts will speak for themeslves. The Witches bless em are in wonderful form and will not let them have a sniff of pulling that enormous lead back. I suggest we will lose but who cares by 12 - 16 points. So lookout Somerset here we come.
  23. Yipppppeeeee KARMA has come to sort the corrupt pairing of middleditch and ford out what fantastic justice after all their efforts to cheat their way into the final. Ha Ha Ha
  24. Brilliant win by the Witches at Redcar all our riders are on form now, what a shame its so so late in the season. It seems to be a fight between us, Boro and Sheffield but what about Workington? Im sure you good people will put me right if Im wrong. Whatever our 2 remaining matches against Newcastle are very hard indeed and more than 4 points in all dont look like an option.
