  1. Probably the bottom 5 lines of your post will happen at some point.. but let's hope the promotion can get some legends back on track & hopefully the Owen brothers make a very welcome return among others
  2. Let's hope that if the promotion do replace Danny with a 3.5 rider if possible ( they will have to be careful which I'm sure they will ) as some riders on a small AV think like a heat leader at times & want heat leader deals..
  3. Cheers AV got it the rider who rode it was derrol Keats's
  4. Possibly the bells are ringing a wonder if it was derrol Keats's bike when I've had another look
  5. According to the powers that be kid had another venture in his home country and doing well so I think speedway is the last thing on his mind & he'd be a big risk to bring back in so it's Tommy to stay for me
  6. Aye but I don't know how to do it !! I've put it on Facebook so you could check it out on there
  7. Here's 1 for the historians can any 1 tell me about 19 years ago as I have a photo of my daughter on a bike it's got a jawa engine the covers are yellow & white with thick black K B S letters on the front covers,, who's bike it was ?
  8. Another simple solution for example is the scorpions are at Newcastle on the 16th so the Newcastle promotion could say to scunnys promotion,, season ticket holders half price and any other travelers £13.00 including program.. just wondering how many would take up the offer
  9. That's the massive roumer & he does go well there
  10. Steve it's unfortunately not the same as way back when,, as we now have riders in the MDL NJL & SDL leagues who could do a job in the national League & even some on the amature scene.. example ! On Saturday there will be our own josh embleton & berwicks Kieran Douglas well capable of doing a job in the national League but they just need a break !! But there again it all comes down to money as some of the national League lads are on top tuned machines which is hard for the development lads to compete with,, hats off to Redcar scunny for running amature meetings to try & help lads improve & also Dave Rowland for his training schools over the past few years that has produced a number of riders from 500 to 125 cc riders.. but we still need more help to get more help for NJL lads to the next level hopefully,,,
  11. Any 1 going to Redcar tonight !! Barker & wajtknecht & josh bates all out is the rumours & drew Kemp Danny ayres & Simon Lambert in as replacement's
  12. Answer to your second point is yes quite often rode a speedway bike.. and it's a massive adrenaline rush as is cycle speedway which I have also done quite a lot.. agree on the fact he never set the league on fire but how many riders struggle & then turn it around to become a decent rider so I say let's give the lad a chance to see what he can do & if he scores his average then I'll be happy with that,, on Simon he clearly couldn't get to grips with brough but he did give it his best...
  13. You ever cocked ya leg over 1 of them machines,,, there rather rapid
  14. Jacob looked more comfortable than Simon does at brough big move for the promotion... Not sure on his speed tho but he looks fast on his Todd as they all do but if he can score his average which I'm sure he will happy days & all people who doubt him.. let's hope he proves you all wrong
  15. Also current northern junior League 500 rider josh ( embo ) embleton both get on track training school riders to boot
  16. I wonder if we had a leader like super Nigel farage in charge of the bspa.. would speedway run better like it used to in the good old days of the 60's through to the early 90's just wondering
  17. Also I nearly forgot.. remember if you want to go to the 4's on June the 23rd see me next Sunday and get booked up as seats are going fast,, and Don't miss out
  18. Good to see alan Roberts back on a bike.. can't beat the old uprights and also Gav parr & it didn't rain
  19. What a great day at Redcar yesterday for the amature meeting which ran very smooth and a special mention for gems manager Steve pate making sure the gems lads were ok.. also a big thank you to Jackie Campbell for helping out with Dean's clutch after his fall cheers
  20. Probably the most sensible post on the forum... North/South leagues across the board so we could have a proper fixture list with little gaps in it & get the 4's qualifiers back to keep teams ticking over nicely
  21. Well I must say I was well impressed with buchave today at the track very fast & also the promotion ran a great day for amature riders
  22. Just aswell you don't as it's so frustrating being a Newcastle United fan
  23. I couldn't make it due to work.. how did McDonald do ? I've seen list on a couple of occasions this season & not impressed !!
