No not instant progress, just 3 Under 21 titles, 2nd in National Championship, a possible Under 21 title to go with a respectable 6th place, impressive World Cup performances and performances on the continent before the age of 21. Aaa precious Sidney who can’t be bothered waffling on but still ends his posts with a question mark, bless.

No dear, I said “he is on course to be Under 21 Champion” (as in 3rd and very much in the hunt/ within striking distance/on course) I didn’t once say he was in pole position but these are nuisances and idiocies that you seem to be throwing into your replies that aren’t actually affording any real solid back up to the original point you made - which was flawed, the Nicholls comment you have made there adds fuel to that particular fire, a slightly bizarre comment really given it has no context or relevance here and doesn't even need addressed (mocked though). As I said, what you should have said is either “under your radar” or “you didn’t notice” how good Fricke was/could be - it is ok to admit that, it is ok to have holes in your Speedway knowledge, we all do, irrespective of how many names from the continent we (you) just randomly throw into our posts That aside throwing tantrums and huffs when things don't go your way on this forum does you no favours at all, you just come across a bit arse backwards when you start with that patter... just as you do when you start saying "go and talk down to someone else" after replying to them a few times and trying to talk to them down but failing at it, even though they haven't been "talking down" to you, you just choose to interpret it that way because you don't like what they are saying.

Is it not best to actually read articles rather than making statements that only serve to make you look a bit silly… Let’s strip this back “Harris will blame anything rather than himself” is what you are saying? Well.....apart from when he blames himself by saying “It hasn’t affected Greg Hancock. I have probably let it affect me more than I should have” - The person who made that quote is Chris Harris when he says “me” he is referring to himself and openly accepting a portion of blame. He also in the statement says “Maybe I need to change a few things about the way I ride” so yet again showing an awareness of flaws in his game. The way Harris is being portrayed by some on this thread is quite odd. -
Why did the whole Speedway world know about him.....because of his achievements in his home country - he was rated and known in his own country because of what he had done on the track, that's what validates talent. What he has achieved before the age of 20 is what then shows he isn't "slow burning" it's incredible what he's achieved in his career thus far. How any of this links, correlates or connects to screen names on a forum is beyond me, you're having a nightmare here to be honest.
-
He's 20 years old... He's a 3 time Under 21 Champion in his own country, been second in his Natinonal Champiomship and is currently on course to be a World Under 21 Champion, there is nothing "slow burning" about that irrespective how highly some rate him or not. The only reason he didn't become a PL Number 1 is because he left the league early and raced in an exceptional strong side, he would have had to have an 11 point average to be a Number one in his PL side - while he was there he won the Pairs and was a key figure in that dominant side, the term you are looking for is "slipped under your radar" as he arrived with a massive reputation and was touted as a "future world champion" upon arrival to the country

Because there isn't really a logical reason for the majority of people to dislike him... -
It’s completely ridiculous to impose that stance as though it is Woffinden exclusive though. Harris, Iversen, Doyle, Holder, Charles Wright, Danny Ayres, Ben Morley etc generally all race for reason only, to make money, it is literally their job. It is also questionable that increased attendances are needed to pay his wages, that’s just an additional caveat of strawmaismim thrown in to shine a negative light on the situation. This posturing of Woffidnen is isn't healthy.
-
Probably quite aware they aren’t the World Champion and happy to have their chances of a title medal increased since we are imposing our thoughts to be those of the Wolves team….
-
I think there is often a lot of wishful thinking when it comes to the dismissing of Poole’s chances of another title win. They are incredibly strong at home and generally tend to hang in there in the majority of meetings they race away, it will take a big effort from any side to score more than them over two legs – if anything last night probably validates that, they weren’t very good but still racked up 42 points.

I have edited your reply as I want no part of a section of your post which is utterly classless. For someone who got quite uppity about the referencing of family it is quite crass to constantly make reference to the goings on of someone else’s family in what comes across in a very sleekit way, show the Loram family some respect - their news isn’t for you to use as a form of petulant points scoring on a forum. Don’t bother replying to this post as your actions can’t be justified but you should stop with that chat and probably edit what you have already written. -
I appreciate it is the kind of thing that’s oft dismissed but I do think track covers are far more advantageous to weekend tracks rather than midweek tracks. It is easily dismissed just how much work has to go into laying covers, and also the notice required for track covers to be laid. The majority of track staff who would likely be laying the covers would probably be working at the time it was required the covers were laid, as would the track curator who would have to alter the track to fit the covers and evidently volatile weather conditions. I genuinely don’t think things like meetings being rained off are needle shifters in attendance, if it is the kind of thing that has deterred fans it is an absurdly harsh stance to take IMO as the vast majority of time postponements are made in the interest of rider safety/entertainment levels. Personally I don’t think covers would have altered or adjusted things such as league sponsorship etc, I find that slightly strawmanish. If you are talking 2/3 meetings a year at tracks it seems a very minimal gain.

Its utterly staggering you aren’t conscious of how much on arse you have made of yourself on this thread, give it a rest man. -
Surely the statement made by Rossiter is an instance when guess work doesn’t need to be applied though given he literally said the words he did? it appears he consciously said them as a way to address that particular rumour.
-
So he is outspoken and isn’t that bothered about the BSPA, but not to the point that he would be outspoken enough to speak out against them while racing in Britain? That’s not outspoken then, that’s selective choice of being outspoken on subjects that suit. If the stance is that what has gone on is between him and the BSPA, that’s totally fine, but surely then keep it that way? Instead it is sort of throwing the BSPA under the bus, but not really, and neither to the point the BSPA can reply nor to the point the comments are said with the courage of conviction for people they are being said to (his fans) to get behind, instead I assume most are just left wondering why he is leaving Team GB in the lurch. For what it is worth I think it is absurdly unfair on Woffinden that people attempt to speak on his behalf (I don’t just mean you) it doesn’t do him the favours people often think it does, instead, rightly or wrongly, adds further noise to a lot of what is said – which is all that this situation has done IMO.
-
Surely if he is the kind of persons who will say something that is on his mind he would say it was the fault of the BSPA if that was the thing that was on his mind? It is all well and good to simply fob of he hasn’t given detail, but in most instance the detail is massively important, if you leave it to people to decipher tweets and thoughts they will generally loose interest.
-
Thus far it is probably quite smart on their part not to have said anything – they haven’t been mentioned per se and the white noise is generally surrounding Woffinden, as it stands they might be offering up enough rope (not literally).
-
I’m not having that at all. If the idea was to get people talking about him then this statement would have been held back until the winter surely? People were already talking about him, and talking about him in a positive fashion, praise for WC performance, praise for performance in GP, returning to race in Britain, this isn’t a lull period for him and thus the example you have used is a terrible one. In this instance the new “media frenzy” created is generally negative at a time when it didn’t need to be as people were already talking about him, for good, no smart media team turns that on it's head. If it was a smart move to further interest in him then now was the time to release a defining statement rather than a completely vanilla one. The general PR of Woffinden isn’t that smart IMO - it is creating a vacuum for people to fill and for the most part a lot of the comments are negative, that opportunity could be squashed with clearer and more precise statements, the PR is going to lead to fans ostracising him if it continues as it is.
-
He would garner a lot more support and favour from people if he actually said that rather than allowing people on forums to come to their own conclusions which does no one any favours whether they are making a point on his behalf or against him.

"Second leg of the elite shield was described as a dead rubber by some" No, you (and or fred) are totally right, that really proves the point here, with comments like that oft kicking about it is neither wonder many fans (you and or fred) have such a perception.... I await you (and or fred) continuing with these kind of comments to further prove your (and or freds) point, I have no comeback to that, you (and or fred) have really shown me up there...a killer point, smacked out the park, more fool me for thinking these kind of statements aren't often made.... I do admit though though it's tough to keep up it is like mental gymnastics trying to work out if it is you or fred. awaits post from Fred Flange in next couple of minutes. "headline dodging" saying it is odd to read articles, Christ -
To be fair Gresham is a bullsh*tter I doubt any conversation with Woffinden took place, that he is using the statement as a way to impose his own tired opinion probably confirms that
