Just a culmination of Pedersen being a dirty b*stard on a bike for years. -

Berwick were ridiculed for signing Jorgensen, think about that -
Scott has a knowledge of Berwick that pisses all over clowns on here who try to claim otherwise Taffy wouldn't find Berrington on a SatNav why he is even attempting to comment on it or the track is odd, it's short man syndrome (nothing wrong with being short it is a syndrome though) if he was never their a simple it's before my time is more than suffice, there's nothing wrong with never attending a track and just saying...I was never there so I have Nae clue... I find rewriting history for the sake of his (taffys) narrative, slightly pathetic

Spouting pish for the sake of spouting pish... Were you ever at Berington? No.. So shut up then

You don't know what you are talking about, for once don't try and be an authoritative opinion, shut up and take a step back and leave it to people who know the subject matter You've been hocked and shown up as the absolute gob rubbishe you are, it's glorious

an organization set up to provide help and raise money for those in need. the voluntary giving of help, typically in the form of money, to those in need.

Why? Seeking praise or publicity for a charitable donation is cringing, it is Bonoish behaviour. If you want to give charity or money to someone surely you are doing it as a conscious act of kindness rather than to seek praise. I don’t have any problem with Hynek. I wish him a speedy recovery and this isn’t necessarily aimed at him, but he is already paid a wage, he will receive money (I would assume) from the Benevolent Fund, as with support for bikes engines etc it is an individual’s choice if they want to give riders money. If fans want to do that they can (and were given the chance to) and can also approach the rider in the pits if they want to. Personally, I am not that fussed for topping up a riders wage, I wish them well while they are at Berwick, but Berwick does it for me more than a rider who might not even be in the team next year. I find the continual politicking re the supporters club on here really sad, more so given it isnt coming from the supporters club. The attempt to drive a distance between the club and supporters club seems to be driven by the same posters who set out to create indifference all the time, they aren’t doing their credibility any favours, it just comes across as internet trolling. PS I am not Dick Barrie just before that typical accusation is aimed as it seems to be when anyone dare say anything that may be seen as siding with the club. Because in this instance I don’t think there is a need to side with either, fans wanted to give Hynek money, fans gave Hynek money.

He also looks to be recovering by the week. I will take the Number 1 who sticks in paid 17 and turns in Heat 15 Cup winning riders. A few weeks of poor form while recovering from injury is a fair swap for that. If that means have little knowledge of the sport I will live with that. -
I don’t know Bridger and I don’t know enough about his mental health status to the point that I feel I could position my opinion as his thought. I stand by what I said, the poster is a cretin.

More so given Barker has already won plenty of big races for Berwick. His average has dropped because he returned from injury to early which affected his weekend, had a night when he was plagued with bike problems and keeps falling off when he is leading races. His last 3 home scores are paid 13, paid 17 and paid 8 from 4 a meeting when he fell while leading -

That is 1 who was signed this winter as a new comer who has upped his 7.00 average, there wasn’t any last year, as I said, like rocking horse rubbish. If Czech was full of riders ready to come over and do that, and they weren’t expensive, they would already be here. -

A 7.00 rider who would up his average is like rocking horse rubbish, every club in the league would snap your hand of for riders who were going to do that, more so if they weren't expensive. -
What is the current status of Aspegren (Pontus) and Nieminen? I even wonder if Alden could be tempted to return.

That is a good result for a 5 man team, Berwicks season is ticking along quite nicely. -

I really like this Berwick team, I think they are going to cause a few teams problems. I wasn’t there but even at this early stage of his career Jorgensen in heat 14 typifies him, even on a bad night he can pop out the start and win a big race. It is good having a rider who is strong from the gate for a change rather than guys chasing exhaust comes the later stage of a meeting. -
What Speedway rider puts “bums on seats” at Berwick? Scott Smith was as popular as any rider on the terraces. He was basically a lunatic who could only actually get around Berwick. It sounds quite like a rider who was signed a couple of weeks ago. In recent years Berwick fans have typically been won over by riders who try like Clews, Complin etc even going as far back as a journeymen like Dean Felton. I would personally say that the current 1-7 is made up of riders who for the most part put in the effort, that, rather a winning side has typically been the answer at Berwick. The expectation of some that Berwick are going to sign marquee riders to pack out the side is absurd, it shows a complete lack of grasp of business, economics and geography. The general level of recruitment for Berwick the last few years has been far beyond the typical correlation of where it should be based on catchment area/crowds/number of local businesses. As well as all of that the fact the crowds are regressing across the country and are at their lowest at most tracks that they have been for years, often seems to be completely ignored and instead focus solely turned on what it is that Berwick, and Berwick alone are doing wrong....the problem runs far deeper than Berwick, or even just the current Berwick promotion.
-
I would be curious to know the particular year when you would have picked that squad and it would have been top notch?…. as far back as 89 when Loram, Louis and Screen wouldn't have been near the squad I would assume when the likes of Loram would have been no where near it. Listing of a load of riders from certain eras doesn’t reflect true strength at the time of key events Case and point….2005 British Final had Nicholls, Loram, Screen, Harris, Louis, Havelock, Richardson compete, that is a couple of world champions yet that you wouldn't have took that squad to the WC that year.

I don’t see why not. There are sides in the PL droppings points all over the place as well Rye House, Scunthorpe and Plymouth haven’t got much of a return from the meetings they have raced so far.

Peter was great at the start he was enthusiastic, spoke to fans at the end of meetings, by the end he just seemed worn down and cynical, there is a similar trend now and the similar faces with the knifes out (the way one in particular is attempting to rewrite his history with Peter certainly isn’t lost on me) It is all well and good saying most people don’t care about promotions. They probably should, because when they aren’t there, the sport won’t be there, if anything the last few years has seen Speedway on a life support machine in Berwick, a statement I don’t consider to be scaremongering. If the current promotion hadn’t stepped in after Peter it would have, probably could have been gone then. I would highly doubt you will get anyone stepping up this time. It can be positioned anyway you like it, track should be better, better team, winning team etc. Berwick have had all of those things over the last 10/20 years under several different promotions and it typically leads back to the same place, dwindling crowds and constant rumbles from % of the fan base, it isn’t coincidental. -

No need to think (or maybe there is), this comment contradicts the actual words said by Allen. "Yes Ollie Allen is calling it a day" If someone pointing that out brings out such a deep rooted paranoia to make ones imagination conjure up the gibberish you have managed to come up with, it suggests you are taking this forum (and yourself) far to seriously.
