  1. Joyful scream or painful scream lol ???
  2. Doyle and Wright fit or Killer and Holder or Bjerre and Hans about 16.5 points left
  3. I reckon Wrighty and Paul Starke will be in the final 3 considering the lack of revenue from the TV deal. We wil find out soon enough I guess. Merry Christmas to all Speedway fans.
  4. Welcome back Bradley - theres value in his average at 4.67.
  5. Ok fair enough and as I said I like that team but would like to see Charles back.
  6. 1 H Anderson 2 J Holder 3 R Lawson 4 C Wright 5 C Holder 6 J Allen 7 E Perks
  7. More likely Starkey than Kerr as a club asset
  8. That’s the best team I’ve seen on here but probably way too expensive to assemble. If cost effective teams are the order of the day I wouldn’t be surprised to see Starkey return.
  9. It will be a travesty if Charles isn’t in the team considering the strides he has made in the last few seasons. Rides the outside line at the OTA with 100% commitment.
  10. Welcome Jack Holder to the Rebels. He was due to sign for us a few years back. Let’s judge him on what he does for the Rebels not on his past.
  11. Yes they have according to the Rebels website a few years ago they purchased him from Workington. Ford announced last winter at a Poole fans forum he’d bought Charles.
  12. I’d question if Somerset have the finances to sign Doyle. Unless a huge sponsor comes along. I’d love to see him in Rebels colours, but I’d be really surprised if it happens.
  13. Welcome back Rich he’s excellent around the OTA.
  14. Imminent announcement of the first signing according to the Rebels Instagram page. I reckon Jake Allen
  15. He was excellent before his injury but we didnt see that much of him. Depending on the balance of the team I could see him getting a starting place - prob at No 2 as he has a higher average than Jake .
  16. If there is no TV revenue ( or limited ) then I can see a cost effective team being assembled and you cant really blame the promotion for that -you have to spend what you can afford.
  17. Josh is a very underrated rider and will do a fine job for the Pirates. I have seen him ride week in week out for a number of years and hes on and upward curve and been much more consistent over the last 2 years. He is also a brilliant team man and will be great in the pits with the other riders. I am sure he will prove a lot of people wrong
  18. Good luck to Josh hes been terrific for the Rebels for a number of years and brings more to the team than just his points. I hope to see him again soon in Rebels colours and wish him all the best for next season
  19. A sign ?? http://www.somersetrebels.co/news.php?extend.2110
  20. Swap Lawson for Heeps and a 2.5 pointer for Perks
  21. PK would be a great signing for the Rebels and I think hes on quite a low average which is why I could see him back at Swindon if he rides in the UK. Love to see him every week though at the OTA
  22. He's not an out and out No 1 in my opinion - he rode without the pressure of a No 1 on his back with Doyle in the same team at Swindon LY. He's had one good season and been inconsistent (in No 1 terms) last season apart. Just my opinion - your entitled to yours. Id rather have Josh G than Morris plus Morris has openly stated hes struggled around the OTA in the past despite riding a full season there in 2014.
  23. I hope not, I'd take JG over Bellego without question Josh could be in high demand now being on a sub 8 point average, I hope he remains at Somerset but could easily see him back at Swindon.
