  1. Does Vaclav Millik use A Jawa engine? You don't see many in EL Speedway these days...?
  2. Who is the chief moderator then? Must be someone who is in overal control on what's allowed/not allowed ?
  3. I sent a message to one of the moderators about creating a "Beginners/New to Speedway section" it's been over 4 days now and no reply......... Who's best to contact for this new section?
  4. First things first, you need a list of who's owed money, and how much, and for how long, after all, a lot of bills are now settled on 90 days, so the debt terms have to be established as well.... In theory, when he stated the club had no debt, if a lot of the speedways purchasing was on 90,days, that has only just been breached since start of the season, it might still have been owed, but not reached its payment date.....
  5. You'd think, motor racing, enclosed track, inner city, gladitorial, noisey, pretty environment friendly, less than £20 to get in, 0-60 quicker than F1! What a brilliant concept???? Why is it not more popular than football!!??!!
  6. What about fitting rain-offs in? If you lost 2 consecutive home meetings to weather, what happens then?
  7. Surely, it's NL only? If so another meeting turned into a farce, who's fault is it? Coventry for signing the riders, knowing availability is an issue for some fixtures? Especially with known dates? I don't know who else you can blame?
  8. If in fact it goes to 8 teams, ride each home and away twice, would that enable enough time mid season to have a break from league racing? Perhaps 4 weeks, you could fit in then the following; British Final ELRC CARDIFF GP Speedway World Cup Another GP
  9. I think they will go with the 8 teams left.......
  10. The reason I started this thread was two fold, one to see what everyone thinks about the amount of Speedway Supporters post on here and to gauge support for a new section for people completely new to the sport of Speedway. Sometimes you see a question or two on here that is really basic and sometimes gets shall we say an aggressive answer, because in most people's eyes on hear, it was a question all Speedway fans should know the answer, and it may make the question poster think again about posting, or worse, lose them from the sport.. WHY can't we have a thread for Speedway Newbies??? A place for rudimentary questions and understanding responses? That was it!!
  11. Hi, thanks for that info, because the centre green looked in pretty good condition, I thought perhaps the cars didn't get onto the infield (Inc Speedway track) in that case, yes damage can be worse because it's usually against the grain, or across and is hard to repair without grinding/harrowing a large area back to the base..
  12. So you saying it's always that dusty at Eastbourne? If you were spectating there tonight, the dust would have been really annoying. Also, the controversy over exclusions, when you're there, you don't get the bonus of seeing the replays or hearing refs/mgrs etc, and in fact, if it had not been on Sky, Poole would have won!! Because the ref said he'd have put all four back if he hadn't looked at the tv replays (Darcy Exclusion) I also think, some meetings look better in tv than others, and vica verca... In my opinion.
  13. Think this meeting came over better on tv than if you'd been there, no dust in your eyes for starters, replays of decisions/incidents, rider interviews, chat with managers, hearing in on mgr/ref telecons.... And again, no dust to contend with!!!
  14. Yes, but the cars dont race on the Speedway track at Eastie, they have their own tarmac/concrete circuit around the outside of the Speedway track...!!
  15. More like save on the leccy Bill, keep the floodlights off, also, I suppose England COULD have had a game tonight..........
  16. Could Birmingham track share if a solution is found, but access to Perry Bar is delayed due to red tape? Just so they don't get a backlog of unridden home fixtures?
  17. Is or has Speedway gone the way of F1? To fast, fastest car wins etc.... That lot finally realised the sport was past it best, just in time and have made big chan ges including this terms smaller engines, to reduce costs, slow it down so driver skills are back in play... When will Speedway bosses see the light and do the same... If they ever will....?
  18. I'm sure someone qualified once for the semis, a good few years ago with 6pts..........?
  19. I at least had the manners to call you Robert72, and not call him Hemsley, that's the height of uncooth behaviour, but that doesn't bother you 72, does it....Oh, I forgot, we don't know your real surname, do we, never trust anyone with the surname 72.
