Do Claus Vissing and or Ollie Allen double up anywhere? Or do they both ride only prem in UK? -
Lakeside / Hagon Academy Experience Day

You'll be ok, just forget everything you know about riding on 2 wheels!!! -
Could the GP competition be run outside the regular season? Or perhaps a big chunk of it? For example, the first 4/5 GP's be run in February, March and first 2 weeks of April, then start the leagues, have a mid season break from top flight league racing for another GP or 2, then run the final 4/5 GP's in October and November? Also, reduce the SWC to every 2 or 3 years like other sports World Cups.......

Lakeside / Hagon Academy Experience Day

Never done the Lakeside one, however, in the early 90's I went on the Ole Nygren 2 dayer at Kings Lynn.. you'll probably do better than a regular motorcyclist, as you won't have any riding skills that you suddenly have to totally ignore/do the opposite to and that is hard.....!! -

When you get onto a Speedway Bike, once you get going, once you commit to a move, it's nigh on impossible to pull out of that move. If Nicki had of knocked the throttle off instead of trying to complete that inside pass, it would have made the accident 10 times worse... I don't think Nicki is dirty, a tad risky, but I think Zagar actually threw the first fist or slap or whatever you want to call it.... I know 2 wrongs don't make a right, but hey, they're grown men..... -
Krzysztof was stuck under the fence by the way, the machine was unmanned, thinking about it, it was only 15/16 ft from me on the inside of turn 2, when I got to the bike, the engine had stopped and it had parked itself neatly against the fence, and I only had to turn the fuel off and hand over control to the mechanic.... It actually was probably a bit higher than 8ft, possibly breached 10 ft!!

Krzysztof Buczkowskis tangle with the fallen Nick Morris last night, resulted in Krzysztofs machine launching itself around 8 feet + into the air, before parking itself neatly against the safety fence....! I can honestly say that's the highest I have ever seen a bike in the air, it didn't somersault, or spin, just looked like it had been launched off a ramp!! Luckily no riders injured in the incident, anyone seen a bike higher in the air?

Banning Dangerous Riders

If that had have been on the first bend, first lap, all 4 back would have been the call, impossible to blame Smoli, as Dave Lanning said, "You could throw a blanket over all 4 of them" (not verbatim) -
Unnecessary Delays Due To Low Sun ?
Shale Searcher replied to cyclone's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think the problem is pretty bespoke to each track, I know at Leicester, it's going from blinding sunshine to near darkness, the eyes cannot adjust quick enough and all you see is bright glare, then a very grey image... This is going down the back straight into turn 3.... -

in heat 15, don't the manager/selected riders choose which gate they are taking? I know 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 are decided at the toss, but they get to choose there options for heat 15, if they are off 1 & 3, they decide who goes off 1 & 3 So, the riders do get a look at the gate conditions before heat 15. -

Whether he gained an advantage or not, it was not in the spirit of the sport.... Easy rule to amend for league racing, riders not allowed onto the starting gate area until the 2 minutes warning is sounded, except prior to the start of heat 15.. That should do it.... -

Just to expand on this, I meant that when his mechanic rode Tai's bike out to the start gate, on all three occasions, he didn't appear to have the engine cut-out lanyard around his wrist, and that is breaking rules... Whoever is in charge of the motorcycle, whether it's on the stand in the pits, off the stand in the pits, taking on track, if the engine is running, that person in charge of the bike MUST have the cut-out lanyard attached around the wrist.... Unless it's an FIM meeting.... And from the angles I viewed from, that did not look to be the case.... -

I can not be sure, but it didn't look like his mechanic had bothered with the cut out lanyard either, that IS against the rules..... -
I thought that it depends on the type of parade.... I believe they get fined if they do a practice start or wheelie without a helmet.... Is that fact or something I have dreamed up....?

Starting Gate Shenanigans

The clock, 2 minute countdown viewable to the ref, riders, start marshalls is a sound idea, it's also concise and not negotiable! And mistof all its visually final and shoud be implemented as soon as possible, perhaps get it sponsored by Casio, Hublot, Sekonda, Timex or another timepiece maker....
