  1. I stand corrected, the source has apologised for this miss-information... Magic is riding at Leicester tomorrow, the source has been truly shot!!!! I think she had missread a post on another dated thread. Sorry for the erronious info.. SS
  2. Funny how Janowski is NOT fit to ride at Leicester tomorrow though... This cherry picking meetings when clearly not in plastercast has to be stopped, if only to stop Clubs taking advantage, and robbing fans of seeing the top riders, how many more fans will not now go to that meeting at Leicester because the added draw of another GP star has been negated.....??
  3. You know, you put 16 of the best riders in the world (allegedly) on a reasonable track and that is what you get.. I thought their was some terrific racing, if you looked for the riders fighting for the minor race points.... Do we expect to much sometimes? I am not saying the first 2 were acceptable, they were miles off, but that was A good meeting I thought tonight.....
  4. Looking at the photo on twitter, going into the first bend, is there a slight falling away to the fence? A slightly off camber area?
  5. Who else is free?? good, sorry, great riders don't grow on trees!!!!
  6. Enlighten us with your weather forecast.... As it is going to be partly overcast, less than 10% chance of a shower and around 12c at meeting time, will be a bit breezy possibly....
  7. Agree, he was the best rider on show that night, wasn't fazed by track rumour that you cannot pass, he was very fast and made calculated moves and worked out lines very quickly, and that was a very, very good race.
  8. Yes and no, they are an indicator of in my opinion track condition.... you cannot fly around a bump and rut infested or under-watered dust fest or on over-watered slop.... So track conditions play a part, in my opinion...
  9. Depending which direction the track is facing, will depend on the size of the problem, also if there's no local hills or tall buildings to aid.. Badly effected tracks could put up some sort of light/glare diffusing barriers.... Probable a natural one with fast growing conifers would be environmentally friendly, or a some large, but discreet hoardings, maybe give the hoardings advertising space away free, if that company pays for the hoardings/s surely theres got to be a permanent solution to these problems......??
  10. No, we couldn't, but Denmark, Poland, et al could and have in the past to save em for the final!!!! That's what everyone's saying!! No depth!! Whoooops!! That is not the post I meant to quote, but I think what I say makes that obvious enough....
  11. And of course you're in the pits every week to hear all this, not! Norris could be just the right man to sort Lewis's head out.... Have any ex Leicester riders gone to other BEL clubs after leaving Leicester this past season and a quarter? No, I cannot think of any, they just used Leicester as pre-season practise sessions for their own leagues.. Well, no more.......
  12. Spot on, tints don't work well in speedway, the sudden and dramatic change in the brightness is just as dangerous... Also, visibility out of modern, full-face, off road helmets is nowhere near as good as the old open face helmets had in the old days, not easy to turn your head and dip out the sun without being able to see in front of you!!
  13. Wolves look clear for 90 minutes or so now we've gotten to 8pm..
  14. Well, we didn't want to be on the telly box anyway!
  15. Perhaps the temporary tracks are not good in the colder weather, inside or outside, both Warsaw and Tampere the weather was damp and cold, you try baking a cake with no heat, it's impossible, and surely, you need the warmth to aid the track to go off.. both were too soft... In my opinion.
  16. It was the quickest way to get to the last page, I was 150 pages behind, but comment and it takes you straight to the end... That's all....
  17. Rider efficiency??? What the blazes does that mean? Pedersen was pretty damn efficient, he won the bl00dy thing! More useless stats.... Why oh why do we need them..
  18. Well, it works both ways...... Dangerous track, risk of injury to riders, meeting abandoned because the riders say it's to dangerous.. Nicki Pedersen suffering from dizziness and groggy after crash earlier in the week, would this cause excess danger to other riders?? My guess it would.. So, he should be withdrawn by officials as being a danger to other riders.. danger is danger, practise what you preach Nicki and withdraw to make the meeting safer........!! Bet he won't be though!
  19. I did, nowt....! That was when I made the original comment....
  20. You know it's funny, the racing was very good on Saturday against Coventry, but oh no, can't talk about that can we......
  21. Ok peeps, let's change tac. Thought there was some great racing last night, quite a lot of passing, some riders have bigger balls than others! If you forget all the politics, last night was very entertaining...
  22. Could they get back if they really wanted to? And would they be allowed to ride if they could get back??
