Weather Forecast 10th March to 20th March 2016 Well, a high pressure system is moving east and will set up camp over the UK for at least 10 days... It is a claggy high, hence it will bring with it quite a lot of cloud, but, it will be mostly a dry high, with little or no significant rain anywhere over the UK. Where the sun does burn through the associated cloud, temperatures will respond and rise into the low to middle teens. Where clear overnight, there will be some frost. So, to summarise the next 10 days or so, it will be dry, calm, daytime temps around 10c to 14/15c, mostly cloudly with occasional sunny spells, very good speedway weather.. There are signs of a return to something colder around 25th March..

There should be no signifacant precipitation of any kind over the next 10 days or so, still frost possible where clear sky's form overnight..

The nights may be cold, with the chance of frost, but no significant precipitation between 12th March and 19th March. Daytime temps will fluctuate between around 8c and 14c depending on how much sun you get, which is still a tad hit and miss, it's a dirty high.... But it should be dry between 12th and 19th March......

No problems with the weather!!!!! Dry days before, and Day and evening of meeting, calm too, daytime temps around 12c evening around 6c. Water will be needed....

Don't let the bar stewards grind you down, new broom and all that..... Get yourself down there, and savour the whole smell of the place again.. We have similar doom mongers and nay Sayers up here, just ignore and they'll eventually get bored....

Perhaps it ought to be reintroduced to individual meetings or team events where there is only a single rider representing himself, his team or his country, this would counter tactical riding to gain other riders/teams an advantage..... World Cup springs to mind....!!!

Perhaps you will get a speedway bike up against a plethora of engined racing machines with him hanging out at Rye House, we had Tai at Leicester against a top of the range range rover a couple of seasons ago...... Must be good for our sport.!!

That's one of my points! How come people say there was a load more team riding back in the day, how they manage that without looking back to see where their riding partner was?

It's going to rain on Friday unfortunately, 90% rain, 10% wet snow, should have passed through by mid Saturday morning.. The charts are plumping for a drier, warmer spell 11c to 16c starting around Wed 9th/Thurs 10th March, which is also indicated to last through that weekend as well.... Unfortunately, there's a SSW taking place at the moment, it's effects not yet influencing the charts/models, so nothing is 100% certain at the minute.... (SSW) Sudden Stratospheric Warming)

So, were many riders excluded for the offence of looking behind...? And did it effect the art of team riding?

Really, as late as that?? Team riding needs 2 riders to know where each other are on track, how is that, sorry, how can that be achieved if you can't look back to check where your partner is and where the opposition is....! I have never knowingly seen a rider get excluded for this offence, I.E, I was only 6, maybe 7 when I was imtrodued to speedway..
